Hi,
I have .Net 2.0 application I opened it in VS2012 its opening properly. I have set the target property v2.0 only and in IIS also I have set the application pool target to v2.0. But still I getting the following error when I am trying to run the application.
Please help me in resolving the error.

Though I am not very sure, but we had a similar problem in our project. If we choose the framewrok to 4.0 (the project was supposed to run in 3.5), we used to get these errors.
To resolve it go to your web.config file and change the 4.0.0.0 to 2.0.0.0. It worked for us!

Where in the Web config we have to change the version from 4.0.0.0 to 2.0.0.0, I am not seeing any where that I am setting it to 4.0.0.0.
Can you please point me the element name in the Web config I have to do it?

This is the same problem I had two days ago and it took me way too long to figure out. If you right click the project in Visual Studio and go to Property Pages you will see the targeted framework. You have said that your's is targeted correctly however under MSBuild Options make sure that you do not have any of the checkboxes checked. It took me forever to figure out that I had one checked off and it was interfering with testing in the browser. Hope this helps.

How to play MP3 music in whole background.
(I have 2 Master Pages)
continue to play from page to page. Example, when the first song is still playing and the visitor click on another page, I want that song to continue playing without reload.
and when in one page in stoped the music then stop when i go to other page.
and in i pause that it pause in other page and start when i clik play .
In Other word :
I am wondering how I make get an audio file to play 'continuously' on all pages. So if the audio file has played for 20 seconds, then when navigating on another page it will continue from where it left off. I also am trying to get the volume to decrease after navigating away from my home page

I am working on a website for which I use SSO Login. On one of the webpage I need to make HttpWebRequest to another resource which needs SSO credentials of the logged in user. How can I pass the SSO login credentials (may be in base64 encoded format) which I used to login to website to the HttpWebRequest header? I tried using CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials and DefaultNetworkCredentials but they do not return anything.

I came to the conclusion after research that I need to get the credentials from the SMSESSION cookie in the webpage to pass it to the consequent request. Can anyone help on how to extract the credentials from the SMSESSION cookie?

What do you mean by "with time and date"? Does it mean that the date and time should be part of the random number?

Shouldn't be the case. If you seed it properly, they won't repeat.

If you are doing that every time, just before you call random.[Next](1, 500000) then it is most likely that you will get duplicates. You should call the seeding method only once in your entire program.

Hello friends, please I need your help. I'm currently working on chat program and I'm using asp.net. I'm display chat messages with repeater control, and this repeater control is inside a panel control which I set the scrollbar to vertical. Everything is working fine but the challenge I'm having is how to make the panel control always scroll to bottom, so that chat users can always see the new messages.
