A BS or MS in Accounting would teach you how to maintain accounts, how data flows from one set of books to the next, etc. The MBA supposedly teaches you how to interpret an Income Statement or a Balance Sheet but not how to arrive at one. Pretty much the same thing goes for things such as Inventory Management, Production Support, etc. MBA's don't make good professionals...
