For example, this link (from my recent messages) does go to the Lounge and I can see the thread it's supposed to belong to, but my message in particular isn't in the view and so obviously can't be expanded as would normally happen. Another link is this message. I got that link from an email notification of a message somebody posted in reply to one of my older messages. I can't even see the thread that message belongs to.
