hi , i have html webpage and contains java script code

i want to send data from c# windows form which already have webbrowser control to display the page to html page to change values of java script variables

& i can display the html page in webbrowser control but it's static values

so i want to know how to transfer data between windows form & html page

Hi. How I can move an application with database? ... If I move the application to another pc , it can't open the database Hmmm | :|

The database is Sql Server Compact (.mdf). I tried with Sqlite, but it gave me some error Frown | :(

at ConnectionString: Picture with Add Connection Error... or when I debug the application: Mixed mode assembly is built against version 'v2.0.50727' of the runtime and cannot be loaded in the 4.0 runtime without additional configuration information.
When I add at the form.config this:

<startup useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true">
    <supportedRuntime version="v4.0"/>
  </startup>

It give me this error: Error...

Sql:
At SqlConnection I tried to declare:

SqlConnection conn = new SqlConnection(@"Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename="+ System.IO.Directory.GetCurrentDirectory()+"\\Database.mdf;Integrated Security=True;Connect Timeout=30;User Instance=True;");

and

SqlConnection conn = new SqlConnection(@"Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename="C:\\Users\\ccs\\documents\\visual studio 2010\\Projects\\Database Software Pack\\Database Software Pack\\Database.mdf;Integrated Security=True;Connect Timeout=30;User Instance=True;");

Any ideas? I know I am stressful, but I need help.

Anyway,I rezolve the problem with SQLite removing this

from form.config (app.config) Big Grin | :-D

But now, if I started this topic with this question, I want to know how I can make that my application (with database) become movable into another pc and the database can be opened by my application ? Smile | :)

You'd have to install the appropriate database engine on the target machine and copy over your application, and then register any libraries, blah, blah, blah...

The easier method is to make an installer for it.

Sql Server Compact/CE uses the .sdf file extension. Your database is not a Sql Compact database. Sqlite is also a very different database-format from Sql Server.

Show us the original ConnectionString; I bet it points to an Sql Express version. You'd only need to change the servers' location, perhaps the login-information.

That means you're using Sql Express, not Compact or Sqlite. Is there a Sql Express server installed on that other computer? It won't work without it.

This connectionstring should work "as is", since it's pointing to the Sql Express version on the "same" machine. If you want to point to your original Sql Express database, then you'll have to replace the ".\SQLEXPRESS" with "MACHINENAME\SQLEXPRESS".

Using an application that creates setups. You can choose from ClickOnce, InnoSetup, InstallShield and others.

Hi,
When I tried to access a method of webservice, I got the below exception in my windows application(.net 3.5).
"Client found response content type of 'multipart/related; but expected 'text/xml'."

When I searched, I found the solutions for web applications using MTOM encoding in wsHttpBinding. How can I resolve this issue in windows application(without installing WSE)

Try to use a tool like TCP monitor to check what is being sent over the wire.
It could be that you are getting a response like 'authentication failed' which your client is not able to read.

You cannot use MTOM without using WSE (unless you are use WCF).

Hi,
I have a DataGridView called MyDataGrid1. Based on a field value I need to hide the bottom line for certain rows.

DataTable MyStudentsDtb = new DataTable(); 
MyStudentsDtb.Columns.Add("sl_no", Type.GetType("System.String")); 
MyStudentsDtb.Columns.Add("standard", Type.GetType("System.String")); 
MyStudentsDtb.Columns.Add("student_section", Type.GetType("System.String")); 
MyStudentsDtb.Columns.Add("no_of_student", Type.GetType("System.Int32")); 
 
MyDataGrid1.DataSource = MyStudentsDtb;

My Requirement...
Once the user enters '20' in no_of_student, then I want to remove the CellBorder Lines on that row and further 19 rows below to that CurrentRow, Is this possible?

I imagine it's technically possible, but there's something wrong with your data structure. The number of students shouldn't be in the students table.

Also, you can just use typeof(string) and typeof(int) instead of calling Type.GetType.

should be removed for gridview properties cellborderstyle is None, remove cell border

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
