What you're looking for is the power set of "abc" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_set[^] )
If you go through all the 3-bit numbers (000, 001, 010, 011...) (i.e. the power set) and use the letters corresponding to 1's, that will give you all the permutations.

So can anyone help what is the namespace that has to be used in order to use barcode reader... And if possible can any one give relevant info regarding how to read barcode from image... There is no such namespace.
Using dedicated scanners it is quite simple. They come in all sorts and you can connect to them(the scanners) using either COM(RS 232) or USB or...
As for reading the barcode from an image in your code, this article should give you an idea.

Just on your dev machine. To maybe set them up(like what to decode and what not, the max barcode length...).
But even this is not mandatory. You can leave them(the scanners) to their fabric default settings.
No need to install anything on clients. The scanners do the decoding and send the result either to a serial port or through the USB depending on config.

But you do need to read the instructions for your scanner and find out what protocol is used to talk to it. I think you can access the I/O ports direct from .Net without P/Invoke these days but you still need to know what is being said.

And just to be sure you are not presuming that you can write code that will work with any reader without actually testing it right?

cron is actually a simple command scheduler in *nix systems. It's configured via a crontab file that specifies intervals and commands to be run (among other things). It's commonly used for doing tasks like backup routines, rolling over logfiles, and other maintenance.
The Windows equivalent would be the Task Scheduler.

Why exactly do you think you need to interact with cron?
Rather than creating a scheduled process?
If the later then you start with the OS and at least a brief description of what task needs to be achieved.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here but I don't see it ...
I am constructing a menu at runtime from an XML document, which is being read into a data class created with the xsd utility. This is all fine. As part of constructing the menu itself, I assign to the ShortcutKeys property:

Accelerator is a property auto-generated by xsd and looks like "Ctrl+N", "F4" etc, and this line is running when it should.
The result is that my menu is correctly built, and shortcut keys appear in the menuitems, but pressing the key doesn't cause the Click event to fire. If I first open that menu, the shortcuts fire (i.e. if I open 'File' and press Ctrl+O, the open dialog appears), but they do not if the menu on which the item lives is not opened. (Obviously this is not correct behaviour.)
Just wondering if someone has seen something similar and can tell me what simple step I am missing.

I have a listbox in which I'm keeping several expanders. At the beginning all expanders are collapsed. The height of the listbox is just enough to show them all. After I expand one of those expanders, the height of listbox is increased accordingly. However, when I collapse this expander, height of the listbox remains unchanged, leaving huge white space. How to refresh listbox size?

You can expand the size by Add.Item == Add.Point, that is to say define the size 'By Each' add.item.

Listbox contains expanders and each of them has different size. The problem is not growing. The problem is to shrink listbox after collapsing expander.
