They already are. Gimme an algorithm that will automatically group and sort free text entries based on the meaning of the entry (and not it's spelling) and I'll add it.

I often wish that the entries people add in manually would be added as a drop down list that other people could choose from to minimalize the repeat-answers, yet still allows you to add to the list if yours is not there.
Just a thought.

Simple solution. Add a call to a function 'RunGoodCode()', then, in a few years, microsoft may write a function called 'RunGoodCode()' that may in some distant parallel universe will do just this.
Note: This depends on the code not being written in VB as RunGoodCode would not be a relevent name for the function. Also, the current MS management restricts the amount of Good Code released, so you will have to wait for or cause management re-structure.

You may use a drop-down-list to choose from written answers or - group with deleting white spaces, punctuation marks and changing case to lower.

I have a PIII 664 MHz, 256 RAM, 20gig HD and a 19" monitor. For my line of work (Web dev (ASP.NET), web design and word processing (specs)) it is quite ample. It runs Windows XP and any .NET stuff perfectly fine.
Another monitor would be useful and some more RAM for when I get mammoth Photoshop designs, but otherwise for code editing and compiling in VS.NET it all chugs along smoothly.
Half Life during lunch-time LAN games also works very well.
And yes I have tried XP on some P4s and yes it is faster but only marginally so, nothing fantastic.
Frankly the only new gadgets and hardware I want are for my camera

Hey.. I'm still running with a PII 333Mhx with 256 MB ram.. poor me... at home.
In college we have some kickass machines... and 50 new dells just came in the door.
2.8Ghz, 1Gig ram, 19inch falt screens [decent ones], DVD+CD-RW, 80 gig [very fast] HDD's.

The Computer facilities is this college are class. Almost all the machines are less then a year old and 90% are P4's about 2.5 Gig with 512MB min.

I think I'm pretty spoiled with nice hardware...
At work I have: dual P4 2.8GHz, 512MB RAM, 80GB HDD, dual 21inch monitors, nVidia Quadro4.
+ P3 700Mhz, 512MB RAM, 20 GB HDD, GeForce2GTS, 19inch monitor
At home: P4 2.53GHz, 512MB RAM, 80GB HDD, 19inch monitor, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
+ P2 450Mhz, 512 MB RAM, 40 + 13 GB HDD, GeForce2, 17inch montor
All these machines are really nice to have when you're developing, debugging, testing, etc.
But one has to be very careful not to let the minimum system specs for the enduser of your apps, rush
to extreme heights!
But then again... nothing beats having the best tools available for your job
