Your problem has to do with the setting of the hidden field. So you posted all of the code except for the function that sets the hidden field. You also should have something in the onclientclick of your button that will set the value on the hidden field before the submit happens.

in the code i posted , there i part that assigns the hidden field with a value
document.getElementById("<%= hidDuplicate.ClientID %>").value = findDuplicates(Texboxes); and the same javascript function gets called on the server side like this

I have a content place holder in which there is a print button which creates a notepad file on the click of it for the records which are selected (checkboxes) in the grid view. The print button is placed in a tag and the tag is hidden by default on the load of content place holder.
A javascript code is called on the onclick event of the checkbox in the grid which makes the for print button visible (if any of the checkbox is checked) and hide it when all the checkboxes are unchecked.
The problem I am facing is that when I click on the print button then some events occurs and the content place holder refreshes and hence the tag for the print button gets hidden although the checkboxes already checked remains checked only.
Now what i have done is: I have made the tag visible true always and looking to write a javascript code for making the tag invisible while the grid is not filled. But I am wondering that where should i call this particular javasscript code?
If someone could help me out?

You would obviously want to call the javascript on the checkbox click events. You of course need logic to validate each checkbox's status and show/hide the button appropriately. I would recommand looking at JQuery[^]

I have a excel sheet which has 7 lakhs records in which password has been encrypted. I have to decrypt the password column and find the passord whose length is greater than 7.
I have created encrypt and decrypt methods and the way to find the length of the password

My requirement is, is there any way to decrypt the whole passoword column or i have to loop through all the cells one by one.

One by one. Each piece of data is encrypted separately so it needs to be decrypted separately. If you have a piece of data that when encrypted turns into 12345 and another piece of data that turns into 67890 trying to decrypt 1234567890 would not give you the two original pieces of data (unless you are using a really horrible encryption method like ROT13). It's like if you took a zip file and chopped it in half, you aren't going to be able to unzip either piece by itself.

Hi,
I have a TabContainer that contains 5 TabPanels,
and all of them are visible = false.
At runtime i want to show only part of them,
my problem if i'm not setting the first tab to visible i can't show any other tabs.
I mean, i the fist tab prop. visible is set to false,
all other will not show even if their prop. is set to true.
is it posible???

Sounds like an odd UI design. The first tab should be the most important / most commonly used tab. If you are making it disappear then maybe you need to rethink your tab order.

Hy,
I have a web site which has two different web projects in it.the problem is when ever i am not using any page of one of the Project(P1) and using a page of the other project(p2), it give me session time out soon as session of P1 gets expired.
I have to write the code in such a way that,the session values of 2 different project can interact with each other so that even if i am not working on any of the pages to which a particular project belong ,it wont give me session time out.

Hello ,
I am a asp .net coder . I am doing my project using c# and at the back end there is my-sql . I have created dataset from solution explorer . I have configured table adapter correctly for Customer creation . here the method get works correctly . than i have add query regarding insert , update , delete . At the asp .net web form first i have added a objectdatasource from the toolbox . configured it with datasettableadapters.customerstableAdapter . select the get method as select method and provide insert , update , delete method what i have created at the dataset table adpater . Than i have drag a details view and select the datasource as objectDataSource1 . enable insert , update ,
delete . Every thing works fine now on word . When I run the webpage the detailsView show the information of the customers . But when i go for edit , update , delete than it shows an error that object datasource could not find query delete and it's parameter . What may be the solution

have you tried a payment gateway to process credit cards on your website?
I want to do that but most of gateways i have seen force me to use their form but i want to use my own form so use will just see my form and page not anything else.

Well Jrahma,
you can't use your form. Payment systems are there for a reason.
The customers (yes also your customers) trust certain payment providers
and are willing to pay for some service using those providers.
The payment details are withheld from the provider of said service
(in this case you), because the customer does not nescessarily have any
trust in them.
You'll get nobody to reveal any sensitive information on your site.
Stick with what the payment providers offer you, otherwise no one
will be willing to pay for the services you offer.
