C / C++ / MFC

1. create a new resource of type accelerator table inside your .rc file, then add the entries that you want to that table using the resource editor
2. load the accelerator table using the LoadAccelerators function
3. inside the message loop of the window that you want to process the accelerators, use the TranslateAccelerator function to dispatch them
