I posted a new article today and then received a message from PIEBALDconsult including a
Do not hit 'reply' to this email: To reply, click here
The link is www.codeproject.com/Messages/3391903/Pedant.aspx but this comes up with an error.
How can I reply to PIEBALDconsult as I'd like further clarification. The article was at

| The usual process is that people will read your article and make comments as to whether it is ready to be published. If the reviewers think that it needs more work they will post messages in the forum at the end of the article, and you should receive notification of these comments by email. If you have not received any messages you should check under the "Forums" tag in your membership settings, and enable the email selector. txtspeak is the realm of 9 year old children, not developers. It generally happens becoz sometimes articles are under moderation or due to some reason articles are deleted.First of all you should log in and check whether your article is under moderation or not.

Hello Everybody
back in 3 Jan 2006 I wrote an article called "Startup Edit" "http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/startedit.aspx" then I updated it in 22 Feb 2006, the article viewed 37,128 times since then, bookmarked 33 times, and 43 voted for it, with a Popularity of 5.38 and Rating 3.29 out of 5
But unfortunately up till now it is in the Unedited contribution section
What shall I do to make it reviewed by your excellent staff

I previously emailed the webmaster concerning the fact that unless a reader KNEW that I had articles originating from my blog there was no clear way for them to find them.
E.g. the authors article listing defaults to 'proper' articles tab and displayed '0 articles' so there really was no motivation to click on blogs.
Apparently that feedback was heard and thus I was pleased, but it really only goes half way there.
Every where but the 'back room' authors article page shows '0 articles found' and what concerns me more is that google is indexing as such.
e.g.
Articles by Sky Sanders (0 articles found) - CodeProject
Articles by Sky Sanders (0 articles found) - Free source code and tutorials for Software developers and Architects.

If a blog based submission is good enough to be accepted by your moderators and served as content by your site why is it not good enough to be counted as an 'article'?

Hey chris, I see you have made blogs more discoverable, thank you very much for the quick response.
I noticed one other place that may need attention:
Articles / Tech Blogs Technical Blogs: 8 - Browser
Am I really a 'Browser'? should I not be a 'Writer' or 'Contributor'?
Which brings to mind another question: are accepted blog posts counted towards rep points and member status? Of course, I think they should be.

Hi Sandeep,
The system is designed to avoid spurious votes to keep the voting fair. If there are multiple votes from the same IP, then the article isn't included in the monthly competition.
Sometimes people from the same company vote each other, and that's a little tricky. I think the best way to deal with that is to ask them to vote from home. What do you think?Thanks,

I got your point, but still i don't think there were lots of votes from my colleagues.
Further, while deciding/discarding one can have a look at the article and decide whether it's good or not. Or is it just the number of votes that decides the 'entry'?

| The rating (highest number and quality of votes) decides entry into the competition. That's why we try to be as fair as possible by excluding entries that have a lot of votes from the same IP, in a close time frame, voting 5 each time Thanks,
