Thanks for reply,

I Checked the link but it is related with selection of all checkboxes
but i have to make validation if outer Gridview Checkbox checked then all inner Gridview Check box will be checked == false.

Do me this favor how i approach this.

U can use javascript get the inner checkbox array first,and then iterate the array do what u want, i mean checked or not checked ur inner checkbox.

I developed a ASP.NET website....

every time i have to edit the code of website for creating new page.......

i want to know that is there any way to generate webpage dynamically means i dont hav to add page again n again, i want if i click a button or anything, a new webpage create automatically.......

i hope u got wat i want.....

AFAIK I dont Think You can add a new web page by clicking the button..!
If You Want to add Controls in Your Page try this[^]

But You also can add .ascx Pages And add it dynamically..!

hello buddies..
i am facing a serious issue with my live site,the site runs smooth for say 1-2hrs or even days,but all of a sudden (not able to reproduce the event on which this is happening)it hangs sometime .And any http request to the site results in IIS hang.the browser progress bar stuck . when i check the event view i found following messages

'c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework64\v2.0.50727\aspnet_isapi.dll' reported itself as unhealthy for the following reason: 'Deadlock detected'.
and
'a process serving application pool '..' exceed time limits during shut down.The process id was '3576'

i tried
#1. checking the database connection and i found there are no open connection everything looks fine in sql server
#place the dispose() method every where ,just to stop the memory leak issue
i am using visual studio 2008 c# and its a web application in c#
Can there be issue with HTTP Compression as iam using deflate HTTP comression
also i ma using sql server for session managment

i request all of u to help me on this issue what could be the cause

I want to pass my array in javascript from Page1.aspx to page2.aspx.

Actually on my Page1, there is a one JavaScript function which get status of my JavaScript Panel(hidden/Shown) and i have to set the same status of that JavaScript Panel on Page2. Also this javascript panel is in Datalist control on both page. How can i pass the status of my panel on Page2?

why don't you send the value in a QueryString? like Page2.aspx?VisiblePanel=false and recive it in javascript

var visiblePnl = Request.QueryString("VisiblePanel");

I have created a masterpage and in that i am not getting the content place holder,so i tried to use drag and drop from the toolbox but,i am getting error as Invalid FORMATETC structure.can any one tell me solution for it.

This is a patent exception for VS IDE. If you have created any Custom control, you might have come accross with this.

Dont rely on designer, rather write <asp:Content to the page.

Hi,I am salman.
I have 2 separate fields in sql server 2008 for date and time.
one field is of type date and the other is time.
In .net we have DateTime object but no separate objects for date and time so how to insert date and time in sql server 2008 through c#.net code?
remember i can not insert string of date and time coz the data types in database are date,time not string.

In SQL server database there is a datatype datetime use that.It wil store date and time.

yes like sarang_k says!!! you only have to concat both values of date and time like a string and after

Convert.ToDateTime(yourConcatString);

and save it

look in sql server 2008 we have three data types datetime,date,time.
I want to store date in date field and time in time field.but not in datatime field.
