Why? imageNum is already integer.

Also, since imageNum is initialized as 1, parseInt(imageNum) + 1; would make it off by one.

Respect the Juniors. Even me i am wondering the type of girl I will marry. Many starters fear aspx client because of the many blue, red lines with many xml tags. Server side looks nice.

Well Mark,

I agree, parseInt is not necessary.. I just used this for security purpose.

But if you dont increment imageNum, how could it change the image?
I think it should load 1.png, 2.png and so on... isnt it. Smile | :)

True, I forgot. My response has been edited. The increment should be after the imageNum is used.

Hi All,
i am struck in between the logic.
My question is i am loading the user control dynamically as follows.
step1:
--> In Defalut.aspx.cs--> page_Load i am written
--> Control uc = LoadControl("MyUserControl");
PlaceHolder.Controls.Add(uc);

step2: In UserControl there is GridView Control Need to bind the gridview only
in "Default.aspx.cs"

Can you please help me, how to bind the gridview control of usercontrol which is loaded and need to bind only in Defalut.aspx.cs

The way you normally would, assign the datasource and call DataBind.

Make the gridview of the Usercontrol as public,

Add

uc.gridView.DataSource= yourdatasource;
uc.gridView.DataBind(); 
//This is essential, as it is used to render html from datasource.

Or you can modify the control to handle this itself .. Smile | :)

IMO, a very poor design to directly expose the controls within a user control or server control.

Error in page redirect

hi

in a webapplication to redirect a page to another page i am using the following code

Response.Redirect(dl.url + "LoginPage1.aspx", True)

where dl.url is my wesite url

it worked fine for few months back

but now it showing a error
i found that it is response.statuscode=200

now what is this Response.Statuscode=200 error

how can i solve this
earlier it worked fine ,i didnt touch the code in this page and it is also giving the error like this

Inherits ="MasterPage" should point to your class in codefile.

Say

<%@ Master Language="VB" CodeFile="MasterPage.master.vb" Inherits="myMasterPage"%>

should point to

Public Class myMasterPage<br />
   Inherits MasterPage

i too got the same problem and struggling hard to solve it

as u said i checked with my webapplication

i changed like this

in code file
//MasterPage.master.vb

Partial Class MasterPage
Inherits System.Web.UI.MasterPage
End Class

in MasterPage source file

<%@ Master Language="VB" CodeFile="MasterPage.master.vb" Inherits="MasterPage" %>

both are same now but y it is showing the same error

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
