Hi
on click on save button:
I uploaded 4 images in temp folder in application and used in attachment while sending mail from temp folder.
because on live server it was not possible to recognize from file upload control.
now after finishing email sending process I want to delete these all images but while deleting by coding exception is coming like "this file is being used by another process".
so how can I end process that is responsible to hold these images.

I'm sorry, but this is hilarious.
Despite your inability to post the actual code, I have a guess. You try to delete right away, instead of in response to a message that mail was sent, are you sending asynchronously ? I think the images are still in use because the mail is still sending.

Hi all,
how do i implement Heirarchical role(Group With Roles)
(For Eg.Admin,Marketing Etc) Which can have Additional roles (role1,Role2 etc..)with ACL(Insert,Update,Delete) Same as Unix.
The Role Should populate both from group and user.
I am not sure whether current role based security will work in this scenario.
If any other suggestion please let me know.

Where are you maintaining the Role ? You want to maintain it in Database itself or you are using Active Directory for user authentication ?

I'm using vs2008 trial version, i copied the 3 lines code in vs2008 trial version but errors come out -
"Formulas is not member of crystaldecision.crystalreport.engine.reportdocument.

I would guess that you don't have the right references, or you don't have a full version of Crystal Reports.
Did you read the docs to see where Formulas should exist ?

Hi ,
i make administration web page to my site where i make permissions to all users but in the page level i want to control in some contents in the page , for example the edit button appear to admin but not appear in normal user .
i know the general idea but i can not do it:

Then you can identify as part of the Page_Load event on any page whether a user has logged in or not, and what their roles are (administrator, guest etc).
If their role is administrator and you have your 'edit' button as an asp.net control you can make it visible in the Page_Load event.

How do you track users at all ? You should do it with some sort of session variables, then you can check that where-ever you are. However, I'd write a class that checks the session and just returns the admin settings. Either as part of a base page, or in a class that the base page contains.
