Does it open the page you expect it to, at all ? According to google[^], you're also doing it wrong. Which makes sense, if you read your code, what about the command you've provided, makes you think it's going to open a new window ? window.open appears to be what you need. You need to look at the javascript for both controls, and try to work out why one stops the other from working. If you dont want to post the page to the server and get the validation done in the server, put some javascript in. You can call the javascript function on client side events. ASP.NET dll has a native dll in its <Module> section. I presume that is the reason server fails to load it. Do you know any web hosters who allows native dll support by default? You want to write Excel in a website ? Then you need to write a parsing engine. Your easiest bet, if you want to use the same formulas as Excel, is to use Excel on the back end to parse these things.
