Hello Everyone.........in my project i want to use ajax animation extender on a button click and on that i want to give a condition whether user logged in or not........how to do it with animation extender.....

When a user is logged in then button will be enabled true otherwise false?

Let me explain u more clearly......I want to save some data on a button click. and whenever user click on button...it should check whether user logged in or not if logged then save data in DB, if not then show the animation extender with login control........so how give this condition in animation extender....got my point??

Now is clear to me.

Dude your question requires to do work for you,so begin by yourself and when you stuck somewhere post here problem.

Add button which will check if user is looged in and if yes then save data in DB otherwise show popup login form,this event of button fire from onClientClick event of button which will be visible to client.

I hope my suggestion will give you idea to start.

I don't think your quotes line up. Does it open the page you expect it to, at all ?

According to google[^], you're also doing it wrong. Which makes sense, if you read your code, what about the command you've provided, makes you think it's going to open a new window ? window.open appears to be what you need. And a good book on javascript or at least a lesson in how to use google.

Instead using window.location.href use window.open

Here it is:

required field validator issue

Hi,

when i am using update panel the required field validator failed for dropdownlist,

when i deleted update panel it(required field validator) works fine.how to rectify this problem

can any one help me regarding this issue.

You're using a bunch of different controls to avoid having to learn how to write your own code. You need to look at the javascript for both controls, and try to work out why one stops the other from working. I suspect the answer is that the validator stops postbacks, and the update panel does not post back, by definition.

Actually Updatepanel is required to validate in server. If you dont want to post the page to the server and get the validation done in the server,
put some javascript in.

You can call the javascript function on client side events.

I've got web project that includes native win32 DLL resided in bin folder and unsafe web page that accesses functions from that DLL. In web.config /unsafe compilation is also enabled. On my PC it runs normally but when I put it to http on 3rd party web hosting it returns that error:

If it's not a deployment issue, then it's an issue with permissions on your web host. Talk to them.

It is certainly not.
ASP.NET dll has a native dll in its <Module> section. I presume that is the reason server fails to load it.

Do you know any web hosters who allows native dll support by default?
