I have now got a solution: I hide the button, and unhide a html button which looks correct that does not cause a postback.
I'm not 100% happy with this (a pure CSS solution would be nicer) so if anybody has any other ways of doing it...

Hello, I am trying to find a way to make a page redirect. The idea of the page is that you type qcuil.tk/{search terms here} then it redirects to cuil.com/search?q={search terms here}.
Here is the code:

Hi,
hmmm your code looks bit strange. Try to write your javascript function like this:
function search() {
location.href = location.replace("http://qcuil.tk/","http://cuil.com/search?q=");
}
By the way, Mozilla Firefox offers an error console (can be found under extras) which is pretty good for testing javascripts.

Hi Guys,
I am testing our site for the xss vulnerability.
we have few text boxes, And what ever you fill in this text boxes is saved in the database and then it appears in some other page ( the page generates dynamically ). And When they generates the page dynamically they use htmlencode function to encode the value I have applied on text boxes.
My doubt is, is there any way someone can do xss attack on that.. or is it safe enough ????

Hey thanks for the book. Now onwards i will do the same thing. If Anyone will ask the question about java I will give him the ref to java book , if question is about vc++ give the reference to vc++ book.

The reason I mentioned that book is because it really is the best one I've seen. It has excellent coverage of xss and how to prevent it. Chris Shiflett is possibly the top PHP security guy in the world (as far as I know).
There is far too much on xss to write in post on a forum. Hence, I gave you the link to the book. You will find all the basics in there and it's easy to read. Well worth the money.
You wanted an answer to your question:
No. It may not be safe enough. But all the answers you need are in the aforementioned book.

You can register your domain and opt for hosting from godaddy.com.
Regarding uploading a site
1.Download any ftp uploader(Eg: cute FTP)
2.Connect to the Server using Ftp_Path/UserName/Password provided to you from your host.
3.Upload all contents into the domian folder as created by host.
4. Test the Website.
If you face any problem, just read the Hosting manual provided.

not sure which editor you use, but I know that frontpage has a built in FTP that you can use to upload your files. You can use other FTP programs such as smartFTP or bulletproofFTP.

Now through my desktop application i want to read and write in that .txt file...

I have two websites.
1. I used a template.
2. I designed by my own without using template.
after the completion of both websites how do i differ between them that the first one is a template and the second one is no template even that i know it becuase i have worked on them but if someone else worked on that then how do i know and recognize that.

Label one "template"? or include credit to the person who made it in the footer. ask the person who made it what they want you to do.
