If you want to initiate online payment from your site you need a Merchant account in a Bank, a site verified by a certificate authority like verisign with https.

If a customer comes to your page and tries to make online payment he will be redirected to bank's website. From there the customer will enter his account no, password and amount everything.

Or you can use paypal.com
