Hi!
I have added MIME Type but still have same problem with IE. One thing i notice when try same in other browsers, it work fine and show file type "Microsoft Office PowerPoint Macro-Enabled Slide Show" but same thing in IE, it show file type "Microsoft Office PowerPoint Macro-Enabled Presentation" & open the presentation (.ppsm) in PowerPoint application instead of run the .ppsm file in slide show window.
Is it possible to run PowerPoint presentation (.ppsm) file without using anchor link in web based application?

I dont think you can with a ppsm. you can with pptx. but it all depends on what the end user has installed on his/her machine. there might be some microsoft embedding tool though.

Hi guys,
I have tried following code and it work when choose server option as "Use Visual Studio Development Server" in Web tab of Website Project's property and running with Visual Studio. But it doesn't work When I choose server option as "Use Local IIS Web server" in Web tab of Website Project's property and also it doesn't work when i deploy it on IIS web server & no any exception/error throws as well.

hi ,
i want to ask about problem accurse with me
i install MOSS 2007 on local server and i start it's configuration and created we site but when i want to add user to my web site or to moss serer generally i can't find user in my active directory or on my network
i click on add users under security and permission at add user\group section i click on book to search for users i can't find any users i have active directory on separate machine

The results shown in many search engines have various types of data displayed in a column-row. For example, when searching for a list of Articles on this site I see a few columns. The first column shows several pieces of information. The title of the Article which is blue and is a hyperlink, Information about the article in grey, applicable Platforms, again hyperlinks, etc...
It is obvious to me this wasn't done by the typical ListView object, or was it? I've been beating myself up for weeks trying to figure out how this is done. I really am hopping someone knows of a tutorial that will show me how to create this. I'm using C# and ASP.NET in Visual Studio.Net
Can someone explain to me, in simple terms how this is done?

hi!
Since VOIP is prohibited within some area, broadband internet ISPs block VOIP ports or drop VOIP signal and voice packets,so i want to wrapp the VoIP trffic into a package which can not be detected by ISP.
So can any one please help what should i do for wrapping?
Which technology should I use?(may be SSL Tunneling or any other?)

I am wanting to create a page where a client can enter in their 'password' (really just text) that will then take their inputed text and redirect them to a web page with their proofs.
IE. they go to www.mywebsite.com, click on client proofing, enter into field: 'theirpassword' hit enter, then it will redirect them to port44.com/mywebsite.com/theirpassword.html
I cannot figure out how to do this. any help will be appreciated

Hello all,
I'm trying to include external web page that just contain some image, into another HTML page
<!-- #include virtual="/<some path>/MyImage.html" -->
and fix its size according my needs. Unfortunately i can't change the image size within its own page, i have no access there.
I tried following ways:
1. <table width="260px" height="65px" id="Table13">
<td style="width: 260px; height: 65px;">
2. <div style="width:260;height:65px;" >
but the image size remain as it is

obviously you have some form of access. i.e. "read" access. Have you tried saving the picture in a new location? or taking a screenshot?

Hi
i am using menu in my website but i am unable to handle it
my menu look like same as code project menu if i open my side in desktop monitor means CRT monitor its fit according to the data present in my site
but when i open same site in laptop its not working properly means menu is starching towards left side as the width of the screen increasing
my question is how to maintain the menu width according to data its does not starch as the screen of laptop increases

Hi,
When im trying to delete VirtualDirectory under DefaultWebSite using the command....
appcmd delete vdir /vdir.name:"Default Web Site/Tester" ...
cmd shows the result as virtual directory is deleted......
but the physical content under inetpub and the entry under DefaultWebsite is not getting deleted....
so please let me know how can i delete the vdir along with the physical content and the entry under Default Web Site......

I think that will only delete the virtual directory. You need to delete the physical directory in the normal Windows fashion.
