Are you talking about the standard javascript alert window or something customized one. If it is JavaScript one then I would say that its not possible but for customized one you can do it using document.getElementById(controlID).style.visible = false.

i am using asp.net 3.5 i written mail sending functionality , sometimes i am getting following error msg
Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: Access denied - Invalid HELO name (See RFC2821 4.1.1.1)
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.
Exception Details: System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: Access denied - Invalid HELO name (See RFC2821 4.1.1.1)
can any one help me to fix this problem.

mayby you could post your code su we can see what the problem might be.
In Word you can only store 2 bytes. That is why I use Writer.

Before delivering the mail, handshaking[^] is happening and you are getting error there. So I believe, this could be a server issue.

For JS i need the image button id which is in EditItemTemplate.I got the id which is in FooterTemplate by using
gvDataBase.FooterRow.FindControl("ibtnSave").UniqueID
Pls anyone tell how to get that id..........

Yes. you can use multiple web.config file in your application. But, in this scenario, you don't need to use multiple web.config.
You can create multiple connection string for different database.

i created the caluclator same as which look like windows caluclator but when i click onthe opertaor (+,-,*,/) buttons its not working.I took two value holders to keep the numbers what i entered.but when i entering the second number the first number is not cleared and the secons number appends to the first number
