If you want to send mail using Web Service then who will going to initiate the Web service call on time interval ?

You can thing about Windows Service which will call your service to send mail on time interval. You have to scheduled it / Or use TimerCallBack in winservice to Call web service method on specific time.

If web service is only for send mail then you can do it directly from Windows service also.

Let me know if any issue.

try to make this changes

myCommand.Parameters.Add("@ch1", SqlDbType.VarChar, 30).Value<br />

Also try to search on google [^]like first.

Hi,
I am using a Master Page with Header, Footer, Left Column, Center (where Content Place Holder will be) and Right Column.

Now, my I have a SQL Database Driven Menu Control in the header like this:---

Now it is working fine. The thing I want it, suppose the user clicks on "Forum".

The "Forum" related webpage will be loaded and corresponding page will be displayed in the center (content place holder section).

At this time, what should happen is that corresponding Menu Hierarchy should be displayed in the Left Column, something like this:---

I am using C# in ASP.NET, please suggest some solution with code if possible...

You want "Support" menu control on Left Column ,when user clicks header Forum ?

yes... same way if user clicks on ABC, ABC Menu should be there on the left hand side, and the new menu on left hand side should also offer URL features.

We are doing a project in asp.net 2.0 with sql server 2005,we need to move to the next record at the click of a button.We are using an sql datareader,we have one button 'show',to show each record,and in the page load, the following code is there:

I hope this is a bad practice..

In your code connection is open and seems to be never closed.

Best thing to do is to use Paging in Sql server with @rowsPerPage being 1 and @pageNum being row no.

This is showing the private IP of the Machine, not the actual IP.

I think you are running this with http://localhost/...

if upload in some live server
System.Web.HttpContext.Current.Request.UserHostAddress should work...
