Hi,

On my form , i have a iframe. In Iframe I open a external webpage which gets the posted data using
request.form(..)

SO now my requirement is to post my form and in iframe i should be able to get the form data using request.form.

Thing is I can not change the request method in my external webpage.

But so far I have not able to do that. In my Iframe webpage I always get request.servervaraibles("request_method") as GET , not POST

my form is

some hidden controls

where CrmMap is iframe id and action is the page to be opened in iframe.

What am I doing wrong here?

Dear Friend,

my code : objDTItemMasterColl = ((DTItemMasterColl)(Session[Resources.ItemMaster.SessionName]));

where objDTItemMasterColl is the datatable collection object
It is giving the error cannot convert system.string object to objDTItemMasterColl ...

I'm sure it is actually saying: Cannot convert type 'System.String' to 'DTItemMasterColl'

You have a string, a string cannot be cast to DTItemMasterColl. Either you have stored the wrong thing in the session, or what is in the session isn't what you thought it was.

I'd like to add a backgorund image to a table on my web page, but the size is not fixed since it sometimes contains more or less data.
Any ideas how to display this background image?

After seting the background Image, Add this to your Style tag in that < TD >

background-repeat: repeat;

if the table size becomes bigger then your background image, the image will be tiled to fill the space...

Dear Friend,

I would like to do the following from a windows application:

1. Open a browser and navigate to a URL.
2. When i am at the correct URL in my browser window, i want to fill the login information
in the textboxes on that page from my windows application.
3. When thats done i want to press a button.

Well, it seems like i did the first issue perfectly (i think), but working
on issue number 2 is killing me. How can i fill in my user input
automatically to my web browser from my windows application?

Can't you send that through querystring, ofcource it it is not that sensitive.

i can sent it through query string but how can i login different site from one center position and the login can be done without clicking Login button i mean direct login...system

Could not get what you mean here.

In this case what you need to do is to submit the page through javascript after filling the information.

Hello Everyone !!

I have 1 C# activeX control Contorl.dll.
Whenever i embed it into html without signing Contorldll(sn.exe) my control is visible inside htm.

But real problem occured when i Strong named the dll and after that when i embeded this Contorl.dll in htm.
The control is not visible this time ??

Can anybody have solution !
Please Help me.

Crystal Report Printing Problem.

Hi Experts,

I have Designed a crystal report using ASP.Net 2.0. Having a BLOB field in it. Image in the BLOB field is coming from database. Every thing is working fine. I am printing the report using PrintToPrinter method. when I am exporting it ot pdf format Image is displayed in it. Image is getting printed when I am printing it on Local or Shared printer, But when I am printing the report on network printer Image is not printed.

I can't understand why it is happening

Can anyone please give solution for this.

Is your report alignment big? Cause if it's big it can't display the whole report nicely, hence making it "invisible" in a sense. It will only display its maximum data

Thanx for reply. The answer is no because it is getting printed on local printer or a shared one, But not on Network Printer. So it cant be alignment problem. Is it something related to type of Printer?

Yes it may be due to printer setting problems =) You can try bringing a similar printer to a local place and try if the results are the same as in the Network though =) just to make sure

Hi guys i am uploading one excel file and read the datas and storing in to my database table...,

First time its going on well, in the second time the same excel file if i upload once again :

I am getting the error msg as:

"The process cannot access the file 'E:\Files\file.xls' because it is being used by another process. "

whats the problem plz guide me how to solve this one

Make sure you are properly releasing all the streams/resources you use when you have opened the file in the first place.

Hi,

I have a dropdownlist and datagrid on same page. I am able to show the data in grid on selection change in dropdownlist. thats not a problem. What I want now is to show the datagrid on new page rather than same page. By using selection change and button. any suggestion, what I am missing.

Just pass the id from your dropdown list in the querystring to your new page and bind the grid there.

try using querystring.
take the button as html button....

Now on page load event of new page handle the querystring and do what you want to.

Hi I have developed an asp.net website.In my site there is a secured page in which there is a link of a confidential document(say confidential.pdf),which only authenticated users can download.Upto this point it's ok.
My problem is that whenever I go to google and search for confidential.pdf, it shows the link of my file and from there it's easily downloadable.I want to protect this.
Can anyone guide me?
