You're on the right track. Writing a cookie will help, the session is obviously useless, making me wonder if you understand how the cookie could help, or just threw some buzz words out there. You could write a cookie when someone votes, that uses an id to define the post that was voted on. Of course, users can delete the cookie, and you'd end up writing a lot of cookies, which is not ideal. So, once again, there's really no possible way to stop a person from voting, if they have not logged on. There's just no way to magically tell if the same person is voting again, or another person on the same machine, or the same person on another machine, etc.

Hi friends,
I want to insert bulk data in my table. I am using the below query. But it giving exception. Could not Bulk Insert:File 'C:\ip-to-country.csv' does not exist.
BULK
INSERT tblAllCountryName
FROM 'C:\ip-to-country.csv'

Does that file live on the server, or the computer on which you are viewing the page(I have to assume it is a page as you posted on the ASP.NET forum)?
If it doesn't live on the server, then that is why you are getting the error, the path does not exist. The query is being run on the server, not the machine viewing the page.

Did you deploy the sites on IIS ?

Why ? insted of localhost if you write
http://Reserver , it will also work. You do not need do url like this.

You just need to deploy both of web application on IIS on the server.now both application will be accessible from all the machine as well as Server machine connected to that server.the path would be like
http://[localhost]or [server machine name]or [server IP address]/virtualdirname

I developed a project Webapplication1 with one asp page Webform1.aspx. As you know when webapplication projects compiled it makes a dll for whole application. Compiled dll resides in Bin folder of webapplication1 project.
I also developed a Web site project by the name of WebSite1. Include webapplication1's compiled dll reference in website1 project.
Now I want to show webform1.aspx from website1, while webform1.aspx exist in webapplication1 project. I have created the instance of webapplication1.webform1 in website1 project but unable to load or show the form.

Sounds like you have no idea on ASP.NET. In ASP.NET, you don't need to instantiate webforms to show them. Just redirect to the page using Response.Redirect

You are right about response.redirect. But i think you didn't understand my question. Actually webform1.aspx is not in web site project. it is in web application project. I have added reference of web application project in my web site project. Is there any solution?

I think there is some problem in data from DB.Give some default value to you string.Then if data is coming properly then you will get the result else you'll get default value.

As per my point of view, you need to consider the layered architecture of your application. UI/Presentation layer should be different . You need to have you own BLL, DAL and Adapter Layer . Maintain the flow of layers.
Now when you developed it in windows, just need to think about only UI , because all other layers should be same.

Follow the layered arcitecture as Abhijit said.In the UI part,Keep in mind the option available in UI and Desktop because ther are some cotrols that are not supported in Web
