You don't close a TabControl. If you want to close a TabPage, put a close button on it.

Hi
I want to add a link label in Internet Explorer's status bar, can anybody guide me that how to add an object in status bar.
I have already worked with adding button in toolbar pages but they are about adding the buttons on toolbar not status bar and nowhere I found a little clue that could initiate me for this.
I would be very much thankful if anyone could guide me so that I may conform with my assignment.

Hi all,
I wish to cath windows "Low Disk Space" event (ID 2013) inside my C# application.
The class SystemEvents doesn't include this event, so how can I catch it?

You're talking about two different "Event" types. The event you're talking about is nothing but an entry in a log. It's not a programming "Event".
There is no programming event like you're thinking about. There is no event to subscribe to to catch this. Your code will have to watch the event log and look for the occurance of the entry you want.

Iam getting an error while uploading a file to server like this, The remote server returned an error: (550) File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access)
The following line shows the error,

I am running a dotnet application which grabes the broadcast message in MSMQ. The apllication works fine at most of the time but recently I got an error "Message Queuing has not been installed.." while it was working fine before that. Do anybody has any idea about it? What may be the causes this error.

Is it possible somebody uninstalled message queueing. Check it's installed.
Goto control panel, then add/remove programs then click add/remove windows components. It's somewhere in there. Just make sure the appropriate bits for MSMQ are all ticked.

Thanks Simon..As I already said it was working fine for many days and still working fine but a few day back I got the error 'Message Queuing has not been installed' and I just want to know what have caused this error.

The error message suggests that message queuing is not installed. Have you checked that it definitely is installed. It's possible somebody else uninstalled it, or it's possible a service pack or windows update has for some reason uninstalled part of it.

Well then, It's pretty hard to figure out what caused it then.
Service packs, windows updates, a user changing a setting. (Have you checked it works under different user accounts, and non admin accounts?), there's various possibility. If it happens again, take note of the full message. Try to log the exception details and stack trace so you have some more info.

Read about patterns like MVC/MVP. You need to have a model. All your UI controls will be observing it, whenever the model changes, controls will update itself. Read about data binding.

NO. We don't serve urgent requests

Looks like the value you are inserting is not present in the parent table.

1 - you can iterate over the controls collection and reset them all that way
2 - ++userid
3 - I suggest you do some reading before touching any more database code, as it's clear you don't understand them at all.

Hi all ,
My app connects via remoting to a different server.
Suddenly it stopped connecting.
I tried to debug it and it connects perfectly . 
running it directly from the exe file causes it not to establish connection
my guess was the myapp.vshost.exe of course, but I dont know where to go from there.
any suggestion ?
A bit more info about my system :
A. windows 2003 servers (both client and server )
B. VS2005 and let's assume that my server name and port (strings) are hardcoded cause I double checked them on runtime.
C. as always, this bug happend suddenly

What error do you get?
You need to catch and log any exception that occurs so you get some clue as to what went wrong.

ok,
i get the following exception
"Unable to establish connection to server via RemotingAn error occurred while processing the request on the server: Server encountered an internal error. To get more info turn on customErrors in the server's config file."
It occurs in the client whenever I call one of my proxy's method.
The weird thing is that sometimes I dont get it when I run from the exe file. usually when the client is inactive and for a long time. then I connect to the remote successfully. but most of the times I get that exception.
I Never get it when I run from debug, and that's what I am trying to figure out .

I suggest you do exactly what it says. It suggests the error is occurring on the server. Turn on logging on the server. If possible, run the server in debug mode (with VS attached) and see if the server methods are actually getting hit.
At a guess I'd say it's could be some kind of authorisation problem. Maybe a firewall? blocking the app, but not when run through VS. Or perhaps security permissions on the server or remote objects.

From what you have explained, it looks like the connection is timing out. Increasing the timeout time might fix the problem.

Iam using SMTP to send mails from my c# application.If I gave correct 'To' address and wrong 'CC' or 'BCC' then the mail is not sent, to the correct ('To') address also.
I expected it to fail, mail delivery for only the wrong mail addresses and it should be succeed for correct one.
