Hi,I am developing an webpage which runs on a barcode scanner.There I have given one TextBox in which the scanned input will come.I want the cursor to be moved automatically to the next control as soon as the scanning is complete.Right now,the user scans and then presses Tab key to go to the next control.

Hi,
I am creating a website that will allow users to create their own mini-site with customisable content and a choice of simple designs.
My problem is that i need to allow the user / customer to choose the design/layout for their site and can be changed as and when they require. Thus when a 3rd party visit the users/customers site they see it as the design the user selected from their admin.
What is the best way to do this?
The only info i can find on this matter would suggest using a MasterPage for all pages and then using themes to position and colour page elements via css.
This however seems a little cumbersome, and difficult to maintain. I imagine it would be easier if the MasterPage for a given page could be determined at run-time, although i guess the need to compile a site (and select the masterpage before the code is run), would make this impossible?
Or can you select MasterPages via Theming??
Any help would be greatly received.

Hi all.
I have a slight problem on a project I'm working on. The way things are structured is: I have a master page (obviously with the placeholder for the children). I have the placeholder surrounded by an ajax update panel (this was the only work around for a problem we had). Now the children pages all bind their drop downs with tables from an MDB.
The problem? Some pages (even though some have like only three drop downs) take AGES to bind. And even more when a button is clicked (this shouldn't post back as it's in an update panel right?).
I don't see why this is happening in only particular pages. Sometimes, a very short page takes 10-20 seconds to respond to a click, whilst much larger pages respond instantly.
What could be the problem? I'm blocked.

Hi , there is problem in my excel reports(when value if gridview is export to excel sheet) . i m working on a Asp.Net .
when i run programm then there is no problem in reports , its works fine , but when i host it on IIS , reports show a problem .

May be the versoin problem for Crystal report will occur,Comparing to your local system and your Server...So please chk with that .....and open the one crystal report in your Server and check it

I'm developing an intranet applicaiton and printing barcode for the application.But the problem is that barcode gets printed on the server.
Thus i want to print is on client side.
Plz post a code for this if possible.

hmm surely if you click print on your machine using javascript print code it will print on your local printer?

If you use server code to print the bar code, it's obviously going to be printed on a printer connected to the server. You can't access the client printer from the server code.
You could render the barcode as an image to display in the browser, so that the user can print it.

Master page's control can be accessed from all the Contentpages that have the same masterpage.Check the panel as runat="server" and get the control in codebehind and change the visibility according your needs.

if you have any method where you didnt handle Exception , using Try , Catch then you have to handle the Error using Following way
1. Page Level
if you handel exception in page level there is a event Page_error where you can handle.
void Page_Error(Object o,EventArgs e)
{
Trace.Write("Error Message " + Server.GetLastError());
Server.ClearError();
}
Note : You can print this Error in any conrols, because from Page_Error Event you dont have any access of any control
2. Application Level:
in Gloabl.asax , ther is and event which fires when any application level error happen.
void Application_Error(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
}

this code will help me but i want depth information so that i know what actually the process of Event Handling.
As well as if i throw an exception through any method could i catch it at this Page_Error method?
