hi ,
I use datagrid with textbox control.I need a javascript validation for the textbox that should allow numeric values with a single decimal point.
Maximum numeric value it can allow is 999999.99999
Can ne body help ASAP

It works fine with numbers... but it does not accept decimal point.I want to have only one decimal point.ne solution for this

Yeah i have checked the ascii value of ".".Its working but how to restrict the user from entering more than one decimal point...
say it should allow 123.45678
n not 123.45.67 and also not 123..45

Hi in my aspx page page load event i call one javascript method...,
In that page lot of postback evets are there...,
To reduce those postbacks, i used more than one updatepanel & its triggers...,
If i use updatepanel my javascript is not firing...,
How to call when ever my update panels are getting refresh before that the script want to excecute how to do that?,

Hi i didnt ask using javascript updatepanel refresh...,
Actually my requirement is whenever my updatepanel trigger event firing, its have execute my javascript method then it have to update the updatepanel...,
It mean suppose
I have a textbox, In my javascript checked textbox wont be null...,
I have one grid in update panel...,
in that trigger, based on "button click" event its binding grid...,
before binding record in to grid it have to execute the textbox wont be null javascript then it have to be fire updatepanel trigger

Hi
I am facing probelm with vista Operating Systam
it asking prompt for VBAct.cab file unknown publisher when ever accessing activex controls from site and i Checked with all security Options in IE but there is no possibility.
Same site working in Windows XP and 2000 Systems but vista Asking some prob.
if know pls reply me

In Windows Vista, cab files are not used anymore.
You may try to use any driver file instead which is located in the special drives folder.

my data table
orders data table
orderID (int), subTotal(smallmoney), discount(smallmoney), Total(smallmoney), oStatus(bit)
I can bind gridview with orders data table, where oStatus is Ture then gridview oStatus checked box is ticked , if false then checked box is not ticked
but when I click gridview edit then I am getting this error below

Seems like its not able to find the Checkboxes. Are you using TemplateField for the CheckBoxes? If yes, place a checkbox in the EditTemplate with respective names.

That mean your lblTotal or _ordersBLL.Total is null. Debug your code check which object returns null
