QuestionXslt 2.0, xsl functions and Internet explorer Pin

Hi,

I'm using an xml and xslt files as UI interface for mfc application.
One of the issues I'm trying to solve is image size in html document. Some of the html pages display external images and I can't control the image size (in the xml I have the image width and height). Although I can specify the width and height to display, not keeping the right ratio distorts the image. So, I wrote an xslt function to calculate the size to use. I kept getting the error "Namespace 'http://whatever' does not contain any functions." (sample from http://www.xml.com/lpt/a/1278[^] until I've found in the net the cause: IE7 doesn't supprt xslt 2.0.

As I see it, I have two options:
1. Find out what needed to support xslt 2.0 in IE.
2. Use MFC function from within the xsl file.

Do you see other options? please advice...

Thanks,
Yariv
