I am using AjAX Control Toolkit Tools in my web application.
Such as Calender Extender, Rounded corner and Masked edit......
But I am afraid that these tools may create problem during deployment..........
Please tell me that these controls are reliable or not.........

Is it better to cache a dataset on the webserver OR
use a XML file on a server and maintaining a structure in the XML file that we populate accordingly when required
The dataset has 10 datatables and the site could have more than 50 users at once instance
Is it better to use the XML file stored on a server or Cache the dataset on the webserver considering that the application runs on a web farm
I have to cache the dataset for the users to come back again to the same page and enter new values in the dataset ( something like adding stuff to a basket )

Don't you have a database that you can use for this? It's more stable and much more scalable, which is important for a high load application.
Despite everything, the person most likely to be fooling you next is yourself.

Hi all, can any one try to solve the problem How to maintain history of last ten visited page or any text the user input in a textbox..
I have to show last ten visited pages history on a textbox, when user try ot enter any new input that textbox. How it is to be done.. It displays visited pages like a listbox on mouseover on that text box..
Is there is any way to done this by java script or ajax can any one help me .....

Hi Friends,
i have one doubt,i m using one textbox control in that textbox control,i m entering a value for search and then i m displaying the result in another textboxes and i m having another 4 textbox
control which i have 4 requiredfield validator.While i m clicking the search button it getting postback but the other 4 textbox displaying the required field validator error message'pls enter'.Kindly tell me how to ignore that message.

apply the required validator to the one textbox where the search text is entered and make sure it is not applied to all textboxes, if that doesn work, post your code so we can see what is happening

Dear sir I am newer to WCSF but going to implement it. To run Quickstart of WSCF
from help file i have to edit-
Run the SetUpDatabase.cmd script in the RI1\Scripts folder.
i edited for sql server but couldn't connect due to user problem

hello friends,
I have downloaded few templates from the msdn2 web site and installed it
now when i create a website choosing the downloaded one as a template its
giving error files not found( images database files )
Is that i am missing something or my procedure is wrong ..
Please tell me how to solve this problem

when i downloaded the file i got a .vsi file which doesnt consists of the database and pics....and that link doesnt give the database files and pics ....and to check for the availability please look into the microsoft database server

For changing password I'm displaying a div in which i'm showing UserName, OldPassword, New Password, Retype Your Password and a update but as i click on the "Update" button it changes the password and hide the div as well. But i want the div should not be disappeared
