how can we stop the user not to select zero bytes in the choose file its self using file upload control...when user selects a zero bytes file the prompt message should come that file zero bytes will not accepted

Hi All,
I want to use Excel WorkSheet and Crystal Reports in my project
so anyone give me some idea or tools for implmenting this particular in my project.
I had use successfully into my localhost but my IIS and Web Server throwing an error from web.config as configuration error for crystal reports when I used crystal reports assemblies.
And When I use Excel Sheet through
System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject
the error is following
"Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80040154"
so give me some idea or suggestions.

Get a Content Length of the file and compare it with 0 than will display the message that 0 size file is not accept

You can only check the size of the file once it has been posted to the server. Check PostedFile.ContentLength in your postback to get the size of the file in bytes.

I have taken over a project.
The web forms displays a frame one with a tree view and one will display the content of what the node on the tree view is clicked.
However, even though the tree view is displayed the content doesn't display in the other main frame. However, everything works fine in IE 6 but not in IE 7.
Is there something that need to be configured to make this work in IE 7.

Nope. I think there might be some issues in your Javascript code only.. If the code doesn't work on IE7 then it might not work on non-IE browsers (e.g. Firefox.) What I wanna suggest you is that try to test your page in Firebug.. then, you will know which code has the problem...
