You can't remove cookie. But you can set the expiry time of the cokie to a date which is less than today's date, and add that cookie again. Browser will think it's an expired cookie and will be removed.

How did you store those different items in a cookie? As a cookies can store only one the name and value pair, you can't create the multiple name/value pairs in a cookie. but if you are storing the comma seperated values (e.g. 1,2,3,..,i) then you can change the value ..

Multiple containers control

Hey guys, I'm developing a website for which I want to create a control which holds two containers. The control must be placed in the toolbox, and dragged onto a webpage (or user control) from the toolbox. I was thinking to inherit from System.Web.UI.WebControls.CompositeControl.

I want the control to hold two containers (panels) which can be filled with the controls the developer wants. Is it possible to create a control which holds multiple controls? What's the correct approach?

I have declared two panels and exposed them via public read-only properties.

I displayed my mark list table in data grid.if i click the roll number cell i want to display the corresponding value (like name ,class) in text box,i am using asp.net 1.1.i am MCA student,beginner in asp.net,so please any one give some code or link or idea plz urgent this.

use grid rowevent to get the value of that cell and display your desire result.

Put a button column in your DataGrid and write code in Itemcommand of DataGrid. Use the parameter e in that event to find the cell value and assign it to textbox.

Image refresh Problem

Hello All!!

i am saving the logos of the companies in the a directory. the file name of the logo is kept as the id of the company in the db. my problem is that when i change the image(logo) the change is not reflected after the postback. i have to click refresh to see the change. I have clearing the cache at the same time redirecting to the same page also but it of no use.

any help

The log file doesnot mention anything about the events that happen on the webserver.I am just trying to track down some errors generated on the webserver.

Is there any other log file i have to look?
