Hi to all,
I am developing a web application on ASP.Net using C#. In this i have used one listbox for containing list of files. Whenever i select the item from this list box i want to display the details of that file from the database, so for that purpose i used ListBox1.SelectedIndexChanged event to perform this task. but at the runtime when i select item from the listbox this event does not occurs, it occurs at the PageLoad event.
Anybody can tell me how can i remove this problem.

you should check for handles clause.
missing handles clause in event handler might be the reason

When U select item from the listbox the first the Pageload event Occurs then after that ListBox1_SelectedIndexChanged - Event execute...
using debugging check this..if u still not get then reply me

Hello experts,
I make a DLL named maths.DLL. In that I include all the possible
functions related to maths.
But what I see other user can add this DLL as a reference and use my functions... 
I want to make My DLL password protected so no one can import it and
use it.
How I can do that...?

Why don't you use obfuscater.Vs 2005 comes with one . you can use it to obfuscate your code so no one can use your class library

What i see the obfuscater is the third party component and we have to buy it.
I want to make security using .net. Is their any way to use .Net Securities ?
So I can make my DLL secure i.e no one use it or you can say password protected DLL

I want to search a file from server and want to copy it to the local disk.
how it is done? This is working if the file is in my hard disk itself.But not when it comes to server. If i map the server i can search.like y:\\serverfolde\\folder am tring to make an exe. different people will map to different drive. so i cant give like that.should give like @\\server\\serverfolde\\folder\\ but it is not working.

Hello
I am using standard procedure to consume web services( add web reference and so ...)
All the mapping is generated for me. I need to include "accept-encoding:gzip" in the http header of the request, so web server will know to compress the response.
I could not find how to do that.

Hi,
Its better you create a DLL of your VC ++ class and call that DLL from your c# application using DLL Import atribute. and use that function . you will get lots of exaples of that in code project , just try to search it.

To call a C++ function from C#, you need to create a wrapper class in C# which uses C++ dll methods. Then call the C# method. You need to use DllImport
