Hello experts,
I make a DLL named maths.DLL. In that I include all the possible
functions related to maths.
But what I see other user can add this DLL as a reference and use my functions... 
I want to make My DLL password protected so no one can import it and
use it.
How I can do that...?

Why don't you use obfuscater.Vs 2005 comes with one . you can use it to obfuscate your code so no one can use your class library

What i see the obfuscater is the third party component and we have to buy it.
I want to make security using .net. Is their any way to use .Net Securities ?
So I can make my DLL secure i.e no one use it or you can say password protected DLL

you can use LicFileLicenseProvider Class to code your custom tool.You can find many samples arround.

I want to search a file from server and want to copy it to the local disk.
how it is done? This is working if the file is in my hard disk itself.But not when it comes to server. If i map the server i can search.like y:\\serverfolde\\folder am tring to make an exe. different people will map to different drive. so i cant give like that.should give like @\\server\\serverfolde\\folder\\ but it is not working.

System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException:Could not find a part of the "@books\template\Template\els".

Hello
I am using standard procedure to consume web services( add web reference and so ...)
All the mapping is generated for me. I need to include "accept-encoding:gzip" in the http header of the request, so web server will know to compress the response.
I could not find how to do that.

Hi,
Its better you create a DLL of your VC ++ class and call that DLL from your c# application using DLL Import atribute. and use that function . you will get lots of exaples of that in code project , just try to search it.

To call a C++ function from C#, you need to create a wrapper class in C# which uses C++ dll methods. Then call the C# method. You need to use DllImport

is there any code that if the control have paint event it is generated and a particular method is called

Can anyopne please tell me whyn this isn't reading data from the database? I'm trying to save multiple entries to the database based on checkedlist box selections. I really need my code proofread. Can someone please tell me in code example what I'm doing wrong? What I meant by my post was that the way you are concatenating strings together into a sql statement is very bad practice. Read this very useful article http://www.codeproject.com/cs/database/SqlInjectionAttacks.asp[^] by Colin Mackay.
As far as inserting multiple values from a checklistbox selection, techSkillsCheckListBox2.CheckedItems.ToString() is suspect. Isn't there supposed to be an Items collection that you can pull the actual data value from? I am not a 100% but look for something like that.

Hey,
I am using a BinaryReader to read some Int16 values from a file. These values, however, are stored in big-endian format. I am sure there is a way to fix this issue programmatically, I'm just not sure how to go about doing it. So, how can I read a big-endian value from a file and get it to display correctly?

Just write a function that takes the Int16 values and converts them from big-endian to little-endian.

Hello to all,
I wrote an application that takes measurements made by usb attached software and after finished
collecting, it draws a graph.
my problem is that while collecting, if moving from this form to another activity on my desktop
say check mail for instance, or even if screen Saver catches me, the form goes blank and I can't see
anything.
it is problematic, I have a progress bar on that form to show collecting progress, and I can't see
it because I can't see the form.
how do I make this form always visible???
