For this better do with javascript.. You can use style.display. That will hide the invisible area and brings the control up.

Hi all,
In my application i wanna display an image of having the current webpage content.
I mean,in my application there is Preview button,in that click event i have to display all the webpage content as Image.
By googling am able to know that i have to use mshtml,shdocvw dlls and gdi+.but no clarity which one has to use GDI or others

Hi all guys,
I am trying to get the index of the listbox,
after I selected RadioButton that has Autopostback=true.
Here is some code.....
string titleColor = this.titleColorList.Items[this.titleColorList.SelectedIndex].Text;
And then I tried to show the result: Transparent
The Transparent is the first member of list or it has index=0
It took me for hours  still don't know how to get it work.
Anybody know how to resolve this problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

set EnableViewState of your dropdownlist to true, it will save the value after the page load. If it is not what you need, I did not well understood

The listbox dropdownlist still keep and showing what member I selected after postback but when I tried to show what exactly selectedIndex is, it shows me the first index, it wasn't the index of the selected value.

It looks like the dropdownlist is getting rebound in Page_Load even on Postback. Can you check whether you could bypass this by using IsPostback property so that the control is resurrected of its values from the ViewState statebag?

and now i want to return value selected in the ddl of webform 2 to webform1
webform1:

Webform 2:
i am loading the ddl with the help of query string passed from webform1
now how to send the selected value of ddl to webform 1 from webform2

First Put a frame.aspx in between child and parent form and do the following.
Use this in ur child form:

There is many ways and one of them is u can read the Gridview and store the values in string variable seperated by comma and then split it while saving.

Hello,
I'm developping a web site, using masterpages and content place holders. ContentPlaceHolders I put in the table.
The problem is that in IE the content is showed only in the small part of the COntentPlaceHolder, it is cut on the right and at the bottom.
In Firefox everything is fine, tables and PlaceHolders are automatically resized.
I tryed fixed, auto and percent values for tha table style.

CSS is about seperating the style of a web page from its meaning. To make best use of it you should write semantic HTML that makes sense out of context (ie without any CSS styling). This is very hard to do with ASP.NET as the built in controls output rubbish HTML but it is possible if you ignore all the built-in styling crap that M$ thought so wisely to add. Table are meant for tabular data and should only be used as such, using them for layout is not best practice and very 'Web 0.5' - don't do it!
Check out the w3schools site for a good beginners introduction to this stuff.
