Hi all,
Is there any specific property or control in ASP.NET 2.0 using which i can enter only numerical characters in a textbox??
How do i do this???
If no, please semd me the piece of code using which i can do this validation.

you can use regular expression validation like this:

if you want to validate a filed called year which should accept only 4 digit year like 2007 and not 07.
try this:
After validationexpression you can define numbers Just add this for your problem
ValidationExpression="[0-9]{4}"
if you want a textbox which should not accept special characters.
it will accept only uppercase characters,lowercase characters and numeric characters.
ValidationExpression="[A-Z,a-z][0-9]"

this accepts only a single digit number!!!!
i want the field such tat it should accept number..... any number of any length.....
but this validation coontrol accepts only a single digit no.
not any other number also
please help asap.

Hi,
I have implemented paging in a datagrid. It has got numeric pages iplemented.When i click on a particular page no, then the font size of that page no(current page no) increases as compared to other page no's.
I want all the page no's to be of the same size even the current page no. How to get this.

Hi,
I'm working on a project for dynamic code generation. We are creating the entire solution from scratch here(just at the initial stage).
I create aspx and code behind files in the PL, but after the entire solution is created, I try to open the aspx file in the designer and I get this error:
"The file could not be loaded in to the Web Forms designer."
I am getting this link for help:

But I'm using src attribute like this and it was working when creating file using VS 2003:

You are using the <% %>(script tag) in aspx page that’s why you are getting the error (The file could not be loaded in to the Web Forms designer) to view the designer page first remove all <% %> tags from aspx page.

Hi all,
I have an issue!!!
I have a dropdown list(somewhere near the bottom) in my page with autopostback set on.
The problem is as soon as i select an item from the list, due to auto postback,the control goes to the top of the page!(the page is long enough, so the user has to scroll down to completely fill the form).
so the user has to again scroll down till bottom of the page.

If you are using ASP.NET 2.0, you have one option called maintainScrollPositionOnPostBack. This accepts boolean value, which you can use with the page tag.Or you can check this[^] for an alternative method that uses javascript. But I suggest you to use the first method, It is cross browser too.
