i want to create table in runtime like ms word table,how can i create table?
or can any one tell how to create new control which is not in toolbox i have to create new control plz help me its urgent

Unless you write some custom code to simulate a table, the closest control to use would be the DataGridView control. Creating the DataGridView behind the scense pretty difficult so I would advise you to drag one onto a windows form, set the properties and appearance like you want them then see what code Visual Studio has written behind the designer page.
To add the dynamically created control to a form, reference the form then it's "Controls" property which has an "Add" method:

Me.Controls.Add(myControl,xPosition,yPosition);
If you are wanting a completlely new custom control, your in for a lot of graphics coding. A fairly advanced but great book on this subject is: "Pro .Net 2.0 Graphics Programming" by Eric White.

If you are wanting to create the control yourself you better have some nerve pills on hand. 
All of the functionality you mentioned will have to be created from scratch which will require a lot of paint and logic code. You will also need a good reference book. Check out: http//www.apress.com for a custom controls book.

i have made a window service for my some xyz purpose and its working fine.but the problem is that

when i'm using this Code with Window Service this code is not working even IE.navigate function is not navigating the site or not openning the IE browser..while when i use use this code with simple asp.net with c# project
its working fine.
suggestion are most welcome.

Why dont you try this approach.
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start("www.google.com")That way you allow their default browser to open up the web page based on file associations.

Look I have a widnows service,
which gets installed and uninstalled programmatically.
Now I am using advapi32.dll to install and uninstall the service.
But when I uninstall the service, It doesnt remove the entry from Services. It removes it only when I close the running application which has called uninstall method.
What to do? how can I remove the entry without closing my application?
I working on it since loooooooooong time. but

I have seen some issues with uninstalling windows services where if you delete the exe before you uninstall it, the service will still show up. So I would uninstall first then delete the exe. Just a guess.

There can also be problems if the Services control panel applet is running when the service is removed. It will sometimes "persist" until a reboot occurs.

1. Don't use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS

I want to watch a ftp directory, where users will upload documents, using a windows services in .Net. BUt the directory watcher in .net hav serious problem, its event get fired when the file is not completed yer, can someone suggest better solution or an alternative. i hope u guys will.......

Hi Everyone, I'm a log time fan of CodeProject, former C++ guy, now C# guy. Here's what I need help with if you please:
I have a Windows Forms app (C#, VS2005, .NET 2.0) with a grid control on it, the grid control will be populated with information collected from a call to a SOAP WebService. The workflow is:
1. App starts up - main window is hidden
2. App pops up a dialog asking for logon / password
3. Logon dialog hits webservice and gets back a token
3a. If user cancels login, exit application
4. Main window appears with a grid control on it that is empty
5. Main window uses token from web service to make calls to get data from webservice and display on the grid
Here is my problem: I don't want the main window to appear before the user completes the process of logging on with the login dialog. However, I can't figure out how to get my application to start with my main window hidden except to launch the login dialog from the main form's constructor (gross!!). I try to use the Windows Form methods I can find like Hide() which will hide the window, but the problem is you'll see it before it gets hidden. I don't want it to appear at all until the user is done with the login window. I've tried modeless dialog for the login dialog, modeless etc.
The desired effect that I can't achieve (without putting login form's instantiation and execution in the Main Form's construtor) is that you never see the main form until after login successfully completes, and if login is cancelled the program exits and you never see the main window at all.

Unfortunately, you do need to call the login dialog before you call the code to create the main window. This could be accomplished from your static void Main() code:

Application.SetCompatibleTextRenderingDefault(false);
SecurityClass sec = new SecurityClass();
if (sec.AuthenticateUser())
{
Application.Run(new MainForm());
}
}Them the security class would be responsible for identifying whether or not the user was valid. This would involve displaying your login dialog. By doing this, you don't hit the Application.Run until you've validated that your user exists.
