using master page is the best way.
partition the page as you wish.
if you want you can make different sorts of partition make two or three master pages.
create appropriate user controls with adrotator controls and write code for binding the data in adrotator controls in the user control itself.
start creating the page and in the page use appropriate master page with the user controls, so you get the page as you need with partition and with advetisements.
if you are a advanced programmer load the user controls dynamically and set the master page too.

When I try to browse a page on a site am creating on my computer using localhost i.e. http://localhost/MySite/Login.aspx, the browser returns some un-intelligible (to me) output which from its form looks pretty much like some error message. When I right-click on the page and check Encoding it is set to "Chinese Simplified (GB2312)" yet I did not set it thus. When I try to browse using 127.0.0.1 i.e. http://127.0.0.1/MySite/Login.aspx the login page loads okay. What could the problem be? I previously suffered a virus attack but I managed to remove the virus successfully.

If its about encoding,you should do this :
right click on your form to access the " document properties " then change the charset to " unicode utf8 " ...
or you can also save your pages as ( "save as " ) unicode utf8 by clicking the little arrow on the "save" button whiling saving your page ...

Problem may be bigger than that since it is not just the site am creating. I can't use http://localhost for anything on my computer. I have to use http://IPADDRESS

Add I believe this is the culprit:
Trojan.Qhosts.B is a Trojan horse that modifies the hosts file in order to redirect users to incorrect IP addresses when lookups are performed for eBay-related domains.

hello,
I'm trying to intercept the Response.OutputStream in a HttpModule. Since Response.OutputStream is write-only I tried to filter it using the Filter property, but without success. I need to find a way to modify the stream if it's an image in the BeginRequest or EndRequest event.
All I've seen is examples where ppl modify the HTML by filtering. Since my response contains only image data this doesn't work for me. I've been at it for days now  Ideas anyone ?
