What you can do is to catch the onunload event in the body tag. This event is triggered whenever the page is unloaded, which happens if the window is closed, but also if the user navigates to a different page, or reloads the same page.
You can't directly determine the reason for the event, however, so you have to keep track of how the user navigates so that you can tell when he's leaving the page for some other reason.
Unfortunately, it's not as simple as just telling the app to use 2.0 - there are MANY changes between the frameworks, so you'd need to find out what they are, and change source code appropriately before it will ever work

i have 2 pages one of them is parent for other one
parent one contion a gridview when i click on grid child page is opening
i do editing on my record then i close page
but no thing is not happen to grid if i refresh page manual grid become refresh as i want
but i want to do it by closing child page
i open child page by this Code :
for close child i use this Code
please help coz i cant do any thing with out refresh parent page
by the way if i can do it when i m closing page it is best
Here i used the video file extension as avi, if you want to change you can do as you wish.the sample.avi is located in application folder in my example, change it to appropriate application relative path.
