By this I mean the ODBC does not support named parameters, but the positional parameters, so you will use the placeholder ? instead. Also, when you define the update parameters, they should appear in the correct order as: room_type, room_number, and reservation_id. The sample code looks something like:

Hi ,

please i want to know how to add some controls into ma application but with code not with design

i want to write this

i don't know somehting like that but the problem is that this doesn't work i think because it is not in his place , actually i don't know
i want you tell me how to do this because i need it

i will explain to you to let you know the case

i product a wire & each wire use two reels , each real has its section & .... but the problem is that i don't know how many reels in each wire so i need to ask for the number of reels used in that wire & depond on this number i will add controls , for each number i will add a textbox , label , dropdownlist ....

can you tell me how to do that ?

This KB[^] can get you started working on dynamic controls. Because you don't know the number of dynamic controls to build, so you need to persist it in the ViewState for example so that you can base on this to rebuild the dynamic control on postback.

Is is possible to deploy a web application simultaneously on more than 1 IIS server using vs.net setup project(auto deployment wizard)?

The VS setup project is not that strong to allow you to deploy a web application to multiple servers. I think that you need to handle it on your own.

Also as you mentioned with VS.Net setup we have to handle it by our own. Can you give me some idea on how to go about it.It will be helpful.

I don't know, you may need to check out the documetation of Wise as well as Install Shield to see if they support what you need.

Basically, when the web setup project runs, it will create a virtual directory at the default web server on the current machine, do some configurations, and copy the content files. So I think you can manage to use the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) to connect to the selected servers, and make a web site, and copy the web pages to the destination location. If you're not familiar with WMI, you can search for "create web site with C#" or something like that on google, and you can start with from there.

It's part of the OS, and you can choose to install from the Add/Remove Windows Components. But if you use the XP Home Edition, you may only need the built-in server in VS 2005.

Hi i m working on network system but i have installed .net framwork on my pc.tell me how can i access localhost server which is installed on my pc. I want to make my asp.net project only on my pc while using localhost ..IIS5.0..
What should I do to make project on asp.net with my IIS .while my pc connected to network ..Is there any setting which is seperae to access IIS or Othere server.?

Just put your web application under the local wwwroot folder. Access it using http://localhost/

And in this case, life is that easy.

If you are running visual studio and you create a new project, then this is how it will work.
