hi all
how can i add .exe file in my aspx page.i have a calander that convert the date in different format,i install this calander this is an destop clander now i want to use that calander in my asp.net page.in directory where the clander is install have three files,now someone tell me how can i add this desktop calande or their .exe in my asp.net 1.1 application

if its an Assembly you can add reference to it & involke its method to change the format however its not possible to render an Windows form into WebForm.

I am sorry to ask ;(

I am running windows XP Home edition. I thought it was going to be hard to install localHost type protocol. , however after installing VISUAL STUDIO 2005 EXPRESS and ORACLE 10G(about 1 gig) it works
like a server.

I don't know I think mabe during the Oracle setup this did the job, by this I mean my pc is acting like a server.

I have a lot to learn. Like I cannot find the directories , how can I view them, the web browser address show this : http://localhost:8080/

or this http://localhost:8080/apex/f?p=4550:11:1759661959884636::NO:::

So ive searched the drives, but I cannot see anything familiar. Please help me find the directories?

Did you get it when you were running your web ASP.NET application? If so, this is the web buit-in server in the Express Edition.

u may use AT command. i.e data modem command to send sms b/4 that u need FCT data modem in ur system. otherwise u approch any online sms renter.

you could also subscribe any SMS gateway like csoft.co.uk they provide various way to send sms like HTTP/ SMTP & webservices

its really a big task, you cant achive it untill you have dedicated DNS controller on which you have permission to write an DNS entry IIS alone can not achive it.

Hi there,
It seems current build of WAP (ASP.NET 2.0 Web Application Project) doesn't support generating the ProfileCommon class automatically when we use profile tag in web.config.
How can we doing this manually?

This is the known issue[^] in the WAP. There are two work-around options:

you could achive this using System.net namespace object HttpWebRequest there is a method download() on this object that can download the page requested

Hello every one,
I have a problem that i recieve null reference object exception in system.dll when i want to access Method of the dotnet application through java application. Below i give explaination of my work. That is my first corba complient application. I have follow the instructions as mentioned in the article below

First i have created the server appplication named IIOPServer, code of this server application are written as follows,

IiopChannel objChannel = new IiopChannel(7999);
ChannelServices.RegisterChannel(objChannel);
RemoteMethods objMethods = new RemoteMethods();
RemotingServices.Marshal(objMethods , "remoteMethods");

and my RemoteMethods Class has the following methods

public double Divide(double num1 , double num2)
{
return num1 / num2;
}
public double Product(double num1 , double num2)

after creating the server application, i creat its IDL file using IIOPNet utility, named as "CLSIDLGenerator" by writing the following lines in the command prompt ,

c:\iiop\iiopnet\CLSToIDLGenerator\bin\CLSToIDLGenerator RemoteMethods
-o c:\working\projects\IIOP\IIOPServer c:\working\projects\IIOP
\IIOPServer\bin\Debug\IIOPServer.dll.

Its create RemoteMethods.idl file in IIOPServer directory.

Then i convert this IDL file to java files using IDLJ utility of java, by wtitting the following lines.

C:\jdk1.4\bin>idlj -td c:\working\projects\iiop\iiopclient -i c:\jdk1.4\lib
-i c:\iiop\iiopnet\CLSToIDLGenerator\Bin C:\Working\Projects\IIOP\

its create five java files in the IIOPClient folder.

In the next step i write code of the IIOPClient application in java. Code the IIOPClient.java is as follows,

this file is saved in IIOPClient folder. Then i compile this java file to create its class file. And in next step i am going to run IIOPClient application by writting the following line of commands

cosnaming.CNCtxFactory -Djava.naming.provider.url=
iiop://localhost:7999 -classpath c:\working\proj

but it could not find RemoteMethods object on port 7999 and give an error that

"NullReferenceObject" in System.dll

In my asp.net 1.1 gird
first column is checkbox(template column) other three columns are bounded columns(template columns). i am binding 2nd column is like this

i provided one button bottom of the gird. when clicking on button i am retrieving 2nd cell value and doing some operations. my button1_click code

hai,
bool check = ((CheckBox)dataGridItem.FindControl("IsGraduateField")).Checked;
it returns boolean value
