Once I changed the user config file of the browser, the issue was resolved.

Glad to hear it's working for you Big Grin | :-D .

For example, the server name is "jack" in which the application is installed and if i want to access the application throughout the network, what should I do? I tried "remotehost", but did not help.

The uri may look something like : http://jack for the entire jack server. You might also have a look at the documentation of the right version of the browser for the correct configuration.

Is there any other solution to change the browser settings during runtime? I meant, coding in the .net page to change the user config file of the browser.

I don't think you can programmatically set the user settings as it should belong to the user. If it's possible, then IMO there must be a hole of security there. Would you want a web page to change your configurations in your machine when you launch it in the browser?
