Hi,
thanks for replying. I tried to convert the FILETIME into year, months etc by calculating the no of 100 nano second intervals from 1601. But the value i am geting is quite high.

Dear all,
I am writing a Satellite DLL application for Localization process.
I need to allow the user to switch between different langauge at runtime.
[Using regional settings in Control panel we can change the input locale language. Then we can switch langauge using EN icon or shortcut keys]

How to allow the user to input texts in Different Language ? This should be done programatically(dynamically. i.e On-the-fly).

I am working in MFC application under windows 2000.

Experts Kindly suggest me.

Not that simple. Some languages require different keyboard!

many function in which CWnd pointer is used
and i check in application the CWnd pointer is *pParent
what when i use this one it gives error
as in the m_spin.SetBuddy(CWnd *pWndBuddy);to attach a edit control with spin control

Go to the dialog editor and open the spin control property window . There you can set the property for Alignment - Left and AutoBuddy to TRUE

Somethings seem HARD to do, until we know how to do them.

and maybe you need to this function (if this function is next your question if not maybe it is some helpful to you )

Not without more information. When you say, "does not run," what exactly does that imply? Do you get a runtime error, an exception, an assertion, some incorrect value, etc? Have you stepped through the code using the debugger to see, or at least narrow down, what the problem is?

Hi,
I have a really annoying problem, and I can't find the solution to it. Hopefully someone here can help me.

When I run my application on Win XP with themes activated, sometimes the vertical scrollbar in my childwindows locks and can't be used. Though I can still scroll with left/right on the keyboard.

The app works fine on 2000/XP without theme.

The app is an MDI application, and in one of the windowcontrols, I have a windowcontrol and then a childwindow control. Smile | :)

It is the childwindow controls that locks, but only the ones I've created by myself. A CListCtrl for example works perfectly. It's like my controls doesn't get that the scrollbar is used.

I really, really hope someone can shed some light on this for me

doubt on Activex control

Hello all,

I have an activex control,which is a video player plays .cam files.I run this activex control using IE.Everything is working good.

The problem is, if i open two windows(IE) at a time,one is crashing and showing error.how to overcome this problem..

Giv me some ideas..

hi,

when the second instance gets started,a new player will be downloaded again.As soon as the new player downloads,the older player is crashed and the new player starts playing the old cam file.

Any solution for this..

This question would probably be better answered in the COM forum ... but here goes:

Is this an OCX, DLL, or EXE? Specifically, is it running in process or out of process? If it is running in process, you shouldn't have this problem ... but if you do, chances are it is due to holding onto the sound or video resources so that another instance cannot access them. If it is out of process, are you starting a new instance for each time it is instantiated, or are you trying to use the same instance?

Thanks for ur reply..

I am using dll of the activex control.I give its classId in <object> in HtmlPage(IE).
So whenver i open the IE page,Activex control Dll is downloded and then player starts downloading cam file and plays it.
So if i again open IE page,a new instance is instantiated and new player opens.This player uses the same Dll and starts downloading the cam file.

The problem is,as soon as 2nd player opens,the first player is crashing.

Any solution for this..

Now how many vtable will create here.

Where is the class B?
If you have mistyped it , it should be like
class B:public A
Then In this case two VTABLEs will be created one for each class .
A VTABLE is created for each class containing a virtual function and for each of the class that is derived from it.
