I have written a VC++ Program.
I want it to execute when a clicked on a hyperlilnk.
Can anybody tell me how i can do this?

Look into ActiveX. I am afraid that HTML is of least helpful for your requirement. This has become a browser side scripting question you see. No matter if your program is written in VC++ or C or C#.

Browsers don't allow you to do that. They simply open up a download box where you can click on Open to run it from its current location AFAIK.

Try creating an Active-X. Otherwise you'll get the "open,save,cancel" dialog popped.

I think it is quite difficult to implement, because that is against security settings of the browser.
But there is a lateral way to do that.
1. Create a simple COM dll , and implement a function say Execute() in the dll.
2. In execute function; write the code to start your executable. (use System() or ShellExecute() functions )
3. In your HTML write some client side scripts to Create the COM object and call the Execute() function.
This is my idea to resolve the problem.

i m workin on Pocket PC using Windows CE...
workin on the SDK 2005....
i wrote this code....

Seems like you are missing one or more library that you may need to have include.

Chk whether u put the #import statement for the outlook library.
If so chk the .tli file whether the implimentation/declaration of CLSID_Application is available in the .tli file.

Use the EnableWindow function.

GetDlgItem(IDC_BUTTON1)->EnableWindow(0 or 1);

Map the button to CButton (for ex m_button) using the classwizard.
Now u can use m_button.EnableWindow(TRUE) to enable window or m_button.EnableWindow(FALSE) to disable the button.

There is no such ready to use method that allows you to change the caption bar. You will have to owner draw the items that you would like to change the color of. Look into the examples of code project.

you can derived cbutton and use WM_DRAWITEM of cousre you should change property from button in property window Owner draw to true
