Gretna - Professional Profile

I'm a 23 year old software developer that studied BSc (Hons) degree in Computing Informatics at the University of Plymouth. My degree came with a mandatory placement year which was for Converteam a power conversion company in their research and development department.

Since leaving University I have moved to London and got a job working for UBMi a media company in their Software Development Department. Where I have been for the past year

I started out at college working with VB6 before moving to C#.NET at university whilst on placement I branched in to ASP.NET and WPF/WCF, which is where the bulk of my focus now lies. I am now currently working on WPF applications using the M-V-VM pattern, doing all the front end User Interface through the use of XAML. I have also started to look more into Microsoft's ASP.NET MVC 2 taken a training course on it to the end of last year(2010) and used it in applications since.

I enjoy all things when it comes to computer and find that a lot of my spare time is taken up with learning new things, technologies and development. I also enjoy photography and try to get out and about to take photos.
