I'd quit immediately, retire, and spend more time with my wife and family. It's not that I don't like what I am doing, just that I have been doing it for so long. Also, I have put my wife and family aside in pursuit of my career.
Money can't make you happy. It CAN remove most of the things that make you sad.

Not immediately. I told my boss I'd be here at least through 2024 barring any major changes in family status. Winning the lottery doesn't count.

Turns out, I didn't even have to win the lottery. Just had a combination of decent skill in a pretty high-paying industry and a simple lifestyle. (Hint to the younger folks. It's not how much you make, it's how much you spend).
The intention was to travel, but coronas. I hope to get back on that path after vaccination.
For now, I'm finding enough to do around the house, fixing, cleaning, yard work, projects, etc.
If I enjoyed my job, I would still be working. The last place I worked was populated by willfully ignorant consultants (branching too hard, MVC too hard, we'll just hard-code values, etc, etc). Plus, I hated the WFH/teams process COVID forced upon us.
I don't recall what specifically caused me to do the analysis, but at some point last summer, I actually looked at my expenditures vs my resources, and concluded I'm never going to spend the money I already have. So, why go to a job I don't particularly like?
I suppose it's possible I'll re-enter the workforce at some point. I'm not looking, so it would have to be some kind of coincidence to hear about the "right job" I'd be willing to take, seems pretty unlikely.

It depends on the size of the lottery.
I have a buddy with a charity to help "at-risk" kids get their hands on technology in after-school time!
[Think Computer Camp, Daily until mom/dad can pick them up. Build Robots, Fly Drones, write software]
I would fund that, and volunteer a bit.
Just big enough to cover the bills... I would keep doing what I am doing.

I would work with KahnAcademy on virtualizing school even more. Using AI to mentor kids, change topics, repeat questions, develop their confidence in learning. Integrating Physical/Mental breaks into their days.

I would bring public attention to the Health Crisis, and the root cause of "Corrupted Feedback" in the system that keeps us Fat, Sick, and Tired. [The #1 cause of blindness is Complications from Type 2 Diabetes. A Disease that is caused by consuming excess carbohydrates. WRONGLY Described as TOO MUCH Glucose, but really "Too Much Insulin", and if you use the latter definition, you WOULD find it ~10 years in advance, and fix it with Low-Carb Lifestyle (the most studied diet, in history, FWIW)]
The only reason I would bother to do this latter, isn't my passion, per se. It's because it's the leading root cause of MOST of our chronic diseases. If you have Arthritis, Joint Pains, Skin Conditions, you must look at processed foods in your diet. Instead we are being PUSHED to eat MORE grains (a clearly processed food), seed oils (inflammatory), sugar (makes it all taste great).
Going carnivore. I've lost 100lbs, reversed my pre-diabetes, lowered my Blood Pressure, resolved my psoriasis, eczema, dandruff, joint pains, SNORING, sleeping problems, and cognitive decline. The word is SLOWLY getting out there. Lots of programmers/engineers in the groups that go Keto/Carnivore. Because we like things that work, and dislike Dogma!

Explore the US in an RV and anonymously donate funds to soup kitchens, homeless shelters, etc that I discover on my journeys. I'd still need an internet connection and a few computers to play with.

When I was younger, and was the most employable person I knew, I would have said no. I would have kept working and banked the lottery winnings.
Now I'm closer to the end of my career than the beginning, and it's hard to get hired, and I've seen 30-year-old managers make the same rookie mistakes enough times to call the outcome correctly practically all the time, I would definitely retire.

My wife's habits would probably change instantly, but I would keep working until normal retirement age. Then I would put together my woodworking shop, and make furniture until the day I die.

Been retired for 12 years. When I have time, I still code for things I think are needed. My problem is I see more things that need help than I have time to devote to it. Mostly I golf and travel. Best job I've ever had.

In my previous role it would have been a 100% yes I would keep working. Now that I've moved into management it now a resounding 100% no. I would be out of here in a heart beat.
However, I am still at the same company so I might give them 2 weeks notice to find my replacement.
Then I would start a brewery!!!

Of course I would retire from any commercial occupation immediately. That doesn't mean I wouldn't work any more, but I would work on projects I want to work on, for as many (or rather: as few) hours a day as I want. And it doesn't necessarily have to be programming, might also be music, social projects or anything. Also, I would give the 10 most important persons in my life 100,000 € each, so they can share my joy. Yes, traveling. I don't like flying or going by ship, but maybe I would buy myself a caravan, so I can travel and feel at home at the same time.

I think I would start my own business, knowing I could afford to pay the day to day bills without worry. and work on only the projects that were interesting to me, after all I could be picky at that point.

(for those of you who consider COVID a hoax, read no further).
It's now starting to "come out" that it may be a good idea to put off the second dose of vaccine for the two-dose types (Pfizer's, in particular) because it's "effective enough". Now there may be a monetary interest in it, but Pfizer warns that they've no data to support such a conclusion - that the two-dose regimen is what the vaccine was designed for. They do know that works.
Well - by eliminating the second dose they've more first-doses and bigger numbers to parade before the public, so we know the political motive. It makes some sense.
Like building a normal chair with three of four legs - it's been shown that one can still sit on it (also political: one must lean either to the left or right!). WWID (What Would IKEA do?)
I'm wondering about letting them get involved in designing aircraft, as well.

There's no doubting SARS-COV-2 is a serious virus, but the way we've handled has destroyed more lives than the virus itself.
Also, the CDC in 2010 or 2011 (I don't remember the exact year) released a peer reviewed study with the conclusion that wearing masks outside medical settings offers no significant protection against airborne viruses. SARS-COV-2 is an airborne virus and several comparative studies of mask wearing vs. non-mask wearing populations have shown no statistical difference in the rate of spread or any given person's chance of being infected. So why the mask mandates, and now why the double mask recommendation? Note that none of the projections for this virus nor the studies on it have been peer reviewed, yet our politicians have generally assumed the stance of "let no good crisis go unwasted" in the pursuit of subjugating the populace. (The media has gone along with this because fear sells.)
As for the vaccines, a statistical study at MIT showed that the vaccine makers have been taking shortcuts in their efficacy testing. Bottom line is they've been ignoring minority groups so while the vaccines appear to be good for those genetic groups they've tested it is unknown if they'll be as good, or even safe for the groups they haven't tested.

You can always pick out the data you want, ignore the contradictions, and make a statement.
So - rather than be conflictive, might I suggest you go to large meeting with others who don't believe in masks and please don't register to get vaccinated and let some poor deluded soul who thinks it's helpful to protect oneself from a deadly illness have the shot.
Damn - everyone who's supposedly "died from COVID" was terminally ill, anyway (being alive when they got it). It's all a hoax. I haven't seen hundreds of thousands of dead bodies. Have you or has anyone you know seen them?
See? Now everyone will be happy!
