I'm on holiday and in the vicinity of Prague at the moment, so I will not be visiting CodeProject very frequently the next two weeks.
The house we rented is rather primitive, more of a cabin in fact with only a Huawei modem that uses mobile internet. The road that leads to the cabin is a dirt road, till now we managed to use it without damaging our car, but if we had known all this before, we would not have rented the cabin.
The strange thing is that all reviews on the internet about this cabin were very positive, and none mentioned the bad road 
Biking is also disappointing, as there are almost no separate biking lanes over here, only near Prague we could do some decent biking

You are vacation, so take a break from CP.
Hiking will probably be better for you and yours and safer than biking, but I hear you.
Nice to have a car for convenience and comfort when on vacation.

We thought so too and took the car to Cesky Krumlov, once we left the winding local roads behind us the trip went very smooth on the excellent Czech toll roads. We visited the village and castle on foot and had an excellent traditional Czech meal with beer on a cozy terrace near the water

The size would not be a problem if the ladder to the bedroom upstairs wasn't that steep, we prefer not to use it and sleep downstairs.

What do you mean? I get several hundred emails every day, many of them from this site - but only because I'm active here. You aren't - so it's unlikely this site is sending your much. I'd start by looking at where the emails are coming from.

I've got a question about Windows 11 and CPU compatibility, if anyone happens to know.
My current machine's CPU is listed as incompatible with Windows 11. It's a Core i7-6800K @ 3.4 GHz.
What exactly would make a (semi) modern CPU incompatible with Windows 11?
The difficult we do right away...
