Hi,
In my absence from CP Wordle seems to have happened, I think its a game based on Words not unlike a Cross Word (not surprising since CCC has lived past it's creator! we miss DD) but thats as far as I can get...

So why do people post about their Wordle prowess (if that's a thing) as if the lounge was their own Facebook wall (is that what it's called? I have no idea) to keep us apprised?

Some find it a good challenge - and share it... Mostly The Lounge is for such things... Without the s**t of FB...

OK, but daily? I just find it a bit excessive, to put it mildly. Maybe when someone beats some sort of record (if that's applicable at all here, I have no idea), but personal daily results? Meh...
Why not post a link to the daily Dilbert then?

It is a daily challenge - once in 24 hours...
And you can't beat any record as all your history is recorded inside your browser and shared with no one...
I do post Dilbert, when find it appropriate

I play it but I won’t post it here. I have never looked at the Wordle threads and agree that it amounts to noise.

Got into wordle because of lounge. Thanx lounge.
Posting them let's us compare our performances. A good thing.
I agree, if one doesn't play not so much interest in the scores.

Because as with all modern viral (as in it causes a mental disease) software, the creatures guilty of inflicting it on the world have used fanboi spamming as their primary marketing tool.
