Dear Microsoft: If the email has no content other than my signature and I click on the Discard button, please don't ask me to confirm!
Software is often so brainless. Because the programmers also are.
Now, granted, if I were writing a one-off email program, I would probably not bother to do that check. But this is a big giant company making a professional product that should be smarter than it is. And that's just one, very minor, issue I have with Outlook 365.
And yes, sometimes I click on "New Message" and decide, nope, I don't want to email so-and-so.

Outlook 2019 does the same: "Do you want to discard changes?" - but only if you entered a recipient or typed something. A blank message just silently disappears ... which is the way I want it.

I think a lot of frameworks do show similar weak behaviour. Let me simplify it very much:
A dataset has usually (?) the states insert/modified/display. But usually a 'insert_not_modified' is not available.
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question
Chemists have exactly one rule: there are only exceptions

At what point does your signature no longer count as content? Isn't it part of the message body like anything else?

Did you type anything into any of the data entry fields (address lines included) and then clear it out. Outlook keeps a flag that says the message has been changed but doesn't know if it's been reverted.

Does anyone has this?
I opted to get this piece of @#$% instead of a Logitech MX master. It is smaller, works over bluetooth or cable... 3 buttons in the thumb area, free or stepped wheel, integrated battery...
Good touch feeling...
It is nice except... it gets disconnected often when using it via bluetooth. After becoming tired of the bluetooth issue I decided to plug it using a usb cable... and from time to time the cursor just stops. And I have to unplug it and plug it again to be able to work with it.
Has anyone used one of those, found those issues and solved them somehow?
Of course, probably, the best option will be to send it to the mice hell and get an MX Master 3...

Is the surface mouse-compatible? All mice behave differently on surface matter. I've got a mouse at home that works fine on my wooden desk (no mouse pad). The same brand mouse at work is on a wooden desk but requires a mouse pad.

No, but if the mouse is not sensing the surface correctly, it won't communicate correctly regardless of how its connected (wired or wireless).
