...and I've just been to a recipe site that realized I'm in Europe, so it is giving me metric measures.
Unfortunately, it's just used a fixed conversion from the US oddities and is suggesting I need:
78.07 ml basil leaves
2.46 ml soya sauce
14.79 ml fish sauce
...
I'm going to need a pipette for this one...

Good idea!
Now, all I need are another 49 leftover rump steaks from last night...

Looks like you are making something asian. Asians usually are smaller and obviously eat smaller portions.

Indeed - Herself did sous vide steak last night, and we couldn't finish them, so I'm looking at a Thai Beef salad style thing to use up the meat.

Yes, you're right.
But I think, you're also lazy!

Of course I am! I sit here on my big, fat chunk, doing as little physical work as possible. Isn't that why we become developers?

Is it?
Damned, I thought it was for the breathtaking sex-appeal it provides.
Oh, but wait! That could explain a lot...

Well, is it possible to have the API?

You're measuring basil by volume!
Also it needs to be clear as to whether that's fresh or dried.
Looks like a double conversion via fl oz as I would expect those measures to have been in tsp (5ml) and tblsp (20ml) but why convert from a measuring unit everyone has available measures for?
Oh and its going to cost to find finding a pipette to handle 10s of microlitres - good luck.

Hey! I didn't write this!
As it happened, I approximated, and it worked really, really nicely.

(Although I've never seen 78ml of basil leaves, maybe I've seen a handful or a few grams.)
