Oddly enough I find more fun in developing a statistics database than solving it myself.

Check your DNS configuration. Have you tried
ipconfig /flushdns
shutdown /r
In a command-line window?

It consumes people's social media feeds as well. I play it, so I don't mind, and I try to resist the urge to brag/share.

So first I read this - "
Microsoft overhauls its partner program with a distinct focus on Azure " Okay, fine. I'm a consultant so you pay me, I'll wash your car, or work in Azure... but....
so I *finally* get into a customer's server this afternoon. Their network is so elephanted up its astounding. I get into the server via TeamViewer. I used to be able to use VPN, but they got hacked, so they turned off the vpn and only used TV for the past few years. Now, it has been decided by the powers that be that everything is going off to "the cloud..." What does this mean for me? We're back to the VPN, and I have to login to multiple jump servers to finally reach servers that aren't there yet.
Fine, turn off VPN. wtf, let's see if TV works. It does! I'm in... now TV has a history of terrible file transfer speed, so the alternative at the moment is 1 drive. It logs in and prompts me, "would you like to review your memories?" Seriously?
Sorry, Sunday afternoon is bash MS day.

But, but, doesn't VPN stand for "Very Pleasant Network"?

I never thought of it in that way. Just 1 drive wanting to review my history of backups weirded me out.
