Although it can seem a good idea, I am with Mark in this... I don't want to be forced to be online to do anything with my computer.
I can understand the problem with passwords, but all other alternatives are not much better. No matter what the articles or whatever hype say.
ALL new "super secure" things are already proved to be not that secure.
Do you want to increase security in some online services... add more factors of authentication, but don't force me to go online to do everything, because it will be less secure on the long term

Any site that uses cross-scripting is either blocked or added to an "avoid when possible and don't allow scripts" list.
It could be Santa Clause's personal site, but he doesn't have control of scripts pushed by third parties, so he's blocked.
I never get Christmas presents, anyway (unless I pay for them up front), so bollocks to 'im.
Basic security isn't paranoia; it's common sense.

I do not disagree with you in anything about security in the net. I actually would like to know more about it and do some (if not all) of the things you do. I do know that learning it is something I can do. It is just lack of time, procrastination and a bit laziness.

Lots of VMs and sandboxes, MAC-address-based ACLs for access to shares, and knowledge that for every website you block, there are usually at least five others that can provide the same information/service (and if there aren't, you can live without them, anyway -- e.g. the message "Cannot connect to google.com" doesn't bother me in the slightest).
Oh, and total lack of fear in deleting unopened e-mails.

That was meant as a joke, but after typing it, I did wonder if there was actually any limitations of COBOL beyond subjectively awkward syntax (where things like ===, ==, =>, ->, etc. are not at all awkward)
