The good news is that the old-fashioned human way seems to be finding possibles: Coronavirus: Some Clinical Trial Data | In the Pipeline[^] Odd that a malaria drug seems to be effective. Maybe it's telling us to drink more gin?

This seems like a great application for it: filter out all the chemicals that probably won't work and indicate the ones that they should focus on, as opposed to the alternative of looking through all of them by hand. I'm pretty sure (or at least I hope) that this group isn't the one to blindly take a computer's word and act on it.

One of the upsides of working from home, especially when my 7 year old is off school is that I am available most of the time for the occasional quick cuddle, to laugh at something silly she'd just done or help her with something. One of the downsides is that at any time she could walk in to my office whilst I'm on a call.

Seems like a topical project for folks newly enjoying working from home

I suppose I am too old fashioned... open door means come in and closed door don not disturb and if it is important, knock first and wait until I say "come in"

Good lord, whatever happened to taping a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door?

Of course, my cats can't read, but they wouldn't pay attention to a bulb either. Now, if it were wired to an automatic spritzer that would squirt them, that would be useful. Would work with kids too!
