Reading the article, it detected Chromium based applications as malware. This would be nearly 100% correct - those who hate Edge will agree. Those who hate Chrome will agree. Very few of us like both.
As an aside, the current ClamWin AV engines detect OneDrive setup and update programs as a virus.

They only know it through the journalist's eyes, which have to be faded in light of Michael Crichton's observation:
